The Mist (Stephen King) 6/10

Solid story, as expected from King, but poor acting kinda brought this one down. Was surprised to see 3 actors in this that would go on to be stars in the cast of The Walking Dead: Dale, Andrea, and Carroll! Turns out the director went on to be one of the main writers for The Walking Dead along side Kirkman.

Sin City: A Dame to Kill 2/10

What a huge steaming pile of crap this was. It gets a 2 only because I'm a big JGL fan, though his part was just dumb, and because Rosario Dawson is hot. If I never have to see Alba spazz on stage or attempt to act again I'll die a happy man.

Shut your mouth! Alba is the bomb.

Yep, good ole Stephen King.

It was more Cohen Brothers than Stephen King. I know he kills a lot of kids in his books, but rarely does he do so so close to a happy ending. He usually saves the death before denouement for an adult protagonist.

Kill Me Three Times - 7/10 a rare appearance in a movie by Simon Pegg where he's not accompanied by Nick Frost. I think Pegg could play an excellent villain if the right role came along.

True. The book just kinda ended.

Avengers: Age of Ultron. 5/10

The movie felt sort of rushed to me. There was a real lack of storytelling throughout the whole movie. The action scenes were great but unfortunately the whole thing just felt like one big ass action scene. It also felt like they tried way too hard with the humor and cheeky comments.

I didn't expect this one to be as good as the first, but I also didn't expect it to be this underwhelming. It was a letdown.

Just for fun here is my top 5 so far for the MCU:

1.Captain America: Winter Soldier
2. The Avengers
3. Guardians of the Galaxy
4. Iron Man
5. Iron Man 2

Don't know much history about the character but I definitely wanna see "Ant Man".

That movie was horrible. I'd give it like a 2. Just pathetic.

Just watched American Pie on Netflix. It had been years. It's no Breakfast Club, but I'm proud AP defined my HS generation.

why'd you find it horrible?

i could see/understand someone not caring too much for it, but a 2 is pretty dang harsh.

I'm assuming you hated the ending?

Yeah....I hated the ending....but I also hated the entire movie because I thought the acting was very subpar.

Agreed. A lot of the dialogue and conflict between characters seemed very fabricated and artificial; I struggled at times to believe that some of these scenarios would actually occur between two rational people in a real life crisis.

I gave it a 6 mainly because Kings story is still entertaining and overcomes the poor acting
