The entire game matters. The points don’t count extra just when you’re emotionally into it. The defense let us down in the first half and dug a hole we couldn’t get out of DESPITE an excellent offensive game.I'm not talking about garbage time. In talking about when it really mattered....we had nothing. We cut it to 7 and then **** all over ourselves.
Were you at the game? Did you physically see this?Barnes legit was on pace of playing the kid the entire game and was starting to cramp prior to the Injury...The 2nd game he was gonna play the entire game... The first he left with cramps.. This one he was starting to cramp before the injury... Barnes in game coaching is Def questionable
There won’t be an official diagnosis until later in the day. We can all venture a guess to what it probably is, but nothing definitive yet.If its a high ankle sprain he's done for at least a few weeks and likely won't be the same for the rest of the season, or until he can properly rehab it. But I will say people heal at different rates. Probably ought not count on him for a while though.
May have been the hottest start from 3 I’ve witnessed in a long time too. It seemed once the 3 barrage started our defense got a step slower. Someone earlier was saying NC was garbage etc. Anytime you play NC in the Dean Dome…better bring your A game and our defense simply wasn’t ready in the first half. People complaining about our offense clearly didn’t see the same game I did. They also got unconscious from 3 land.
That boy has some Dr. J in him but with a Larry Bird jumper. Hope he can make it back soon. Just a pleasure to watch in orange. He carried us—what a grab by Barnes to get him here. Announcers saying 1st round NBA and this kid was at N. Colorado this time last year. He’s just crafty as heck. Glad he’s in Orange and good thing it’s the holidays/early in the season. No need to rush him back. Looks just like a sprain. A month type deal hopefully. Kid has been pushing himself hard and it’s really impressive.
Great to hear. Hope that means we get him back soon.Wes Rucker

I'm *not* a doctor, but Dalton Knecht is walking back to Tennessee's bus. No walking boot. No crutches. Limping a little, but walking on his own and seems to be in good spirits.Still gonna get scanned and all that, but seeing him walk like that was good.
