I hate to break it to you but that prediction machine is completely broken. It says Amari Jefferson is going to Georgia, but every thing article posted for the last 2 months says it's down to Tennessee and Alabama.

Hugh Freeze apologizes for unsolicited DMs to former Liberty student

it wasn't a case that happened under his tenure at Liberty, but he directly inserted himself, and his preaching, into the incident. he later had to walk back his DM's saying he didn't fully understand what was happening.

Its a pattern at this point. I fully back forgiving a single instance, intentional or not, but he has an established pattern of being on the wrong side of sexual scandals.

Can we not up our NIL offer to this guy to stay in the same ballpark as Miami? I assume we have an unofficial pool of $ at Spyre that can be allocated as needed. I would say offer Warren and Franklin as much as we can right now.

we have at least 10 guys people want us to throw more money at to get them to commit. We also have whatever deals are already in place for those committed. and Spyre also takes care of the guys already on the team.

If think we should be giving away more money you need to donate more money. there are only so many ways we can split the money and be competitive.

Obviously you are never going to get everyone here to agree on which guy should get the most, and how much, and break it down from there. which is good because its not up to us, and I am willing to bet dividing the money doesn't work like we all assume it does.

The last thing we want is to pull a Florida and offer more money than we can pay.

Has Florida done that? That would explain the insane recruiting class they are having although having a poor season.

they did it last year with some 4* QB. they offered him more money than we *allegedly* gave Nico. Then when it came time for him to sign, and them deliver, they had to back out of it.

I figure this year, after that embarrassment, they got their ish together and are being super aggressive to make up for it last year. but they are hosed on QB. They have one this year, who isn't good. and they will have one next year, an unproven freshman. I am not even sure they will even have a scholarship back up.

Its honestly something that worries me. We have seen the movie before of Florida having to go to the no-talent back up and beating us with an all-world performance from a player who never plays even half decent again. or they could go the Kentucky route and beat us with a WR at QB.
