'25 MS QB Deuce Knight (Auburn commit)

You're FOS as usual. You don't know either kid. You now claim to have no preference. Yet, it is your opinion (apparently based on absolutely nothing) that Deuce would handle sitting and waiting his turn better than Mac. I am not a fan of people making crap up and speading unsubstantiated narratives about kids.

...and FYI, I've already gone on record in this thread saying that while I trust Heupel to make the right move, I would take Deuce's commitment now if he's ready.
Where did I SAY that I KNOW THEM? Have you written new forum rules as to how I can express an OPINION? And you have me at a clear disadvantage. You’ve “APPARENTLY “ studied my posts intrinsically to surmise that I’m “FOS as usual”. Whereas I don’t even know who TF you are. 😎 Nice force field with the “unsubstantiated narratives about kids”. I just want to raise the American flag and play Lee Greenwood. If McIntyre was to commit, I’d be fully supportive and hopeful…maybe even optimistic. If Deuce, Madden and the clone of Patrick Mahomes signed up with him, I wouldn’t throw my internet body up against. Just don’t think it’s realistic. All your bombast proves you’re a loud, silly, spazz goober. You’ve changed nothing with your outrage.

This might sound shallow or unimportant to some, but I'd prefer GMac simply on the premise of being a right-handed quarterback, as opposed to Deuce, who is left-handed.

I say that assuming all things are equal and I have to pick something as a tiebreaker. The list of successful NFL QBs who are left-handed is very short. College QBs probably a little longer, but also a much deeper pool of players, too.
Our coach was a lefty so I think it would be pretty cool to see him get to coach a lefty.

Personally I think Deuce would be more content waiting his turn than McIntyre. GM would be wonderful to have but can't see him sitting behind Nico and Merklinger those days are just about forgotten. But I could be wrong I'm just a rabid fan.....

Thank you! It’s not disparaging either to opine one is further along developmentally and less inclined to wait behind others. Would love to have either or both in that QB room, just discussing realistic hypotheticals.

Im liking gmac due to his accuracy

Number 1 thing to me

Elite athlete? Definitely.

As a pure QB, he’s still very raw that’ll require a bit of coaching.
We also haven’t even seen him play his jr year of HS yet. I’m sure he will improve just from attending different camps throughout the rest of his HS career, and this staff has shown their capabilities at developing QBs. I think he fits the system better than GMac too. Having a QB that can turn a sack into a first down is an integral part of this offense’s success

I’d take Lincoln Riley over Heupel and potentially Sark, but Heupel still has plenty of time to become the king of QB development

Huepel has proven his offensive prowess in the most by powerful conference in the nation. Riley has benefitted from conferences that play no defense.

maybe Riley. Sark lmao not even on his best day.
No, there’s no question Riley has proven to be a better QB developer. He will have 3 number 1 overall picks at QB after this season plus Jalen Hurts. Sark has Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart, Mark Sanchez, Jake Locker, Tua, and Mac Jones on his resume. So far Heupel has put Drew Lock and Hendon Hooker in the league. Heupel could eventually surpass them, but right now he’s probably tied with Kiffin for 3

I don’t see Sark doing for Hooker what Heupel did for him. Just don’t. Not at this point in time.

“I see Deuce responding better.”? It’s an OPINION. The “I see” part is a dead giveaway. What part of it indicates INSIDE KNOWLEDGE?
Well, you did post a pic with Christie Brinkley the other day so some other connections are being assumed.

Heupel likely doesn’t make Mac Jones a first round pick either though. I guess there’s more than 1 way to skin a cat. Keep in mind though that Hooker was solid at Va Tech. It wasn’t like he was a nobody prior to playing for Heupel

DeVonta Smith, Jaylen Waddle, Henry Ruggs and Jerry Jeudy should receive as much, if not more, credit as Sark for making Mac Jones a first round pick, IMO
