'26 MS WR Tristen Keys

Doesn’t sound that serious of a prediction.

Making a prediction on Keys and pinning him down to one program is incredibly difficult because his recruitment remains fluid with a bunch of programs making a serious run at him.

Tennessee has been discussed a lot. He seemed to really love Texas A&M and everything the Aggies have to offer when talking at recent events. When LSU offered, the high four-star from Hattiesburg, Miss., raved about the Tigers’ receiver history. Ole Miss is making a run. Others across the Southeast won’t give up until the end.

But Keys has talked really highly about Texas A&M for a long time. He’s a big, talented outside receiver who could fit in the system perfectly and his relationship keeps growing better with position coach Holmon Wiggins. It’s no guarantee but the Aggies do look strong.

Prediction: Texas A&M
In other words, he is playing the game..... ;)

Reposting.

Certain players are just football players (see Dylan Sampson, Ced Tillman). Do they make their team better with fire, and competitiveness. Its a lot to glean from highlights. But, based off that, kid is a football player.

His QB is pretty inaccurate. Throws made above, in front, low in traffic, high again, behind. Really really not ideal. Time and again kid uses body position, creates space, high points, uses body to catch. Really impressive to see. Has a ton of body control and hand eye coordination.

As a non athletic person, always amazed me seeing D1 bball players in person, on floor. People that large should not possess that speed, agility, finesse, and bounce. Yes, there's a corollary.

Anyway. TO played over 200 lbs. Where will kid end up? I still stand behind my opinion he is a TO type difference maker.

Obviously the Dakorien Moorw kid stole the Poly Bowl show, a) he's a Sr. b) he is a freak, like Cordarrelle freak.

Had TK been in that game as a Sr., with no Dk 👀

Quarterback is obviously a different position but it doesn’t change you don’t know how a high school kid is going to pan out in college.
Maybe but skill positions are pretty projectable. They are called skill positions for a reason. OL is tough bc you are reworking a TON. QB is tough bc you never know how they will process the college game. RB, WR, TE, EDGE (for us at LEO at least), DB are pretty projectable imo

Project all ya want but you’ll never know how a player handles things between the ears. That’s the one variable you can’t project. I do agree skill positions offer a smoother transition for young players but you still never know.

Maybe in NFL, but in college? Game is much more suited to reacting. Kid has best wheels of any of our guys, not named Merk.

The first weekend of February saw Alabama host two of the nation’s top receivers in five-star Tristen Keys and the On3 Industry’s No. 3 ranked pass catcher Cederian Morgan.

There is no question the Crimson Tide are near the top of the list for Keys. Auburn, LSU, Miami, Tennessee and Texas A&M are also in there. I view Alabama one closer to the top of that list with the Hurricanes and Vols.

The On3 Industry favors Auburn for Morgan but I think it’s Alabama that has the current momentum. He’ll continue to go through his process as well but both Morgan and his family love it around the Crimson Tide program.
