SIAP Guys. Just saw this and wanted to share...

Ranking the SEC quarterbacks from best to 'most to prove' | FOX Sports on MSN

Our guy in last with players that haven't even played a snap of college football yet ahead of him...seems legit.

I don't expect Worley to put up Manning-like numbers, but I hope he wins the starting job and shuts the nay-sayers up with a simple, solid season.

I love this. I hope there are more articles just like it. I hope Worley and all the QBs and coaches put it in their lockers and offices. We need this sort of chip, if we don't already have it.

I don't really think they were calling him "worst", just saying he had the most to prove. And, I think that's a pretty fair statement. With so many weapons now and with (if) a couple freshmen defenders stepping up, UT could be quite competitive if Worley/Dobbs can show improvement.

What exactly do they mean by most to prove? He beat the #4 team in the country, and he was UTs QB when we nearly beat Georgia when they were a top 15 team. So how exactly does he have more to prove than those slappy QBs from Arky, Vandy and Ky?

Brandon Allen completed less than half his passes last year and had passing rating less than Worley's. He also lost 52-7 vs SCar. Yeah, he doesn't have more to prove than Justin.

And Maxwell Smith really proved a lot last year.....against Miami of Ohio for that powerhouse 2-10 Kentucky team.

Finally, Robinette, who was a glorified fullback at QB averaging all of 3 ypc, completed 50% of his passes, threw 4 tds and 5 ints.....nothing for him to prove.

UGA: Hutson Mason had one good game (GA Tech) and one bad game (Nebraska).

Thompson at USCe has a much better arm than Conner Shaw but can he manage the game?

Vandy: Robinette is ok but not spectacular.

Mizzou: Maty Mauk is good but who will he throw to this year as top three WR from last year are gone?

For all we know, bama may have been sold snake oil in Coker...but he is probably good until kiffen corrupts him.

UK, ARK QBs suck bad. LSU has a potential crisis with their QBs.

aTm... Unproven.

Ole Miss: Bo is good as long as he isn't pressured or hurt.

MSU: Dak Prescott may be the best.

UF: Driscol is ok if you are looking for a runner...coming off a broken leg though!

Aub: 90% runner, 10% passer...ok passer.

If I had to pick 3, I would go with: Thompson, Dak & Mauk. Top 5: add in Hutson Mason and Worley/Bo (Toss up)

I can't wait to see Worley shut all these guys up this season. I personally think Worley will be one of the breakout performers of the SEC this year. I wouldn't be surprised to see him 3rd team all-SEC. With CBJ's coaching staff coaching him up, doing a better job with preparation and in-game scheme changes, and all the weapons he'll have to toss the rock to, I don't see him being a bottom-tier QB.

I hate to say this but I agree! The QB play was down right awful last yr.

Yet, Worley was statistically better than Allen, Smith and Robinette and was the only one who proved he could lead his team to a win over a top 5 team. This stupid list is stupid.

These guys are talking out their poot holes in the off season trying to earn a paycheck guys. They just need to put food on the table and everyone is hurting for content. Any one of you could do the same. Worley is a top qb.

Is this a joke? 14th, behind Arkansas', Kentucky's and Vandy's QB? Obviously I wouldn't put Worley in the top half but this is absolutely ridiculous. He's not gonna be the worst QB in the league. He'll, he wasn't the worst QB in the league last year.

I hope Worley comes out and sets the sky on fire. And I hope someone shows him this BS, and it motivates him to do just that.

He is not 14th. I think if he holds the starting spot he will have utilized the weapons on O that we DIDN"T have last year.

I'd rather Dobbs show out and prove himself to be the QB for the next 3years If I'm going to be hoping.

Worley had better numbers than others higher on this ranking, but he's going into his senior season

WTF, how stupid is the author of this article? He downgrades Worley because he is going into his senior season - and has competition from a sophomore?? Just does not make any sense at all.

Hopefully this kind of stuff will light a fire under Worleys ass and get him motivated.

Ok, again, you can't say that when Brandon Allen, a sub .500 passer for 3 win Arkansas was in the league. Worley also "proved" more than Robinette who wasn't a starter for 90% of the season and who threw more ints than tds, unlike Worley. For matter, with his win vs Scar and his performance vs Georgia alone, he's proven a helluva lot more than the newcomer QBs at Bama, Georgia and LSU who've never started in the SEC.

Perhaps you should read the title of the article again Wrench. I've not said the Worley is a top QB in this league. But he sure as hell doesn't deserve to be ranked 14th and lower than QBs who have performed worse than him or who have never performed/proven anything at all. To say otherwise is ridiculous IMO.
