The reason that Attorney General Barr is reportedly threatening to avoid testifying before the House on Thursday is because the Democrats want to be able to have their congressional aides ask him follow up questions. That is weak.

If you say so. I'm sure the AG cares about what you think.
Do any Democrats care what you think? I highly doubt it... but this is America and we can post our opinions on message boards if we want (provided we our following the rules established by the forum administrator).

Mueller Complained to Barr About His Spin on Russian Investigation

On the eve of Attorney General William Barr’s scheduled testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, a leak informed the world that the AG had received a previously undisclosed letter of complaint from Special Counsel Robert Mueller about the “summary” of his legal conclusions that Barr released back on March 24. The Washington Post had a look at the letter, and the most abundant scoop:
Special counsel Robert S. Mueller III wrote a letter in late March complaining to Attorney General William P. Barr that a four-page memo to Congress describing the principal conclusions of the investigation into President Trump “did not fully capture the context, nature, and substance” of Mueller’s work, according to a copy of the letter reviewed Tuesday by The Washington Post….

[The letter] revealed a degree of dissatisfaction with the public discussion of Mueller’s work that shocked senior Justice Department officials, according to people familiar with the discussions….

“There is now public confusion about critical aspects of the results of our investigation. This threatens to undermine a central purpose for which the Department appointed the Special Counsel: to assure full public confidence in the outcome of the investigations” [Mueller said].
According to Justice Department sources, there was a follow-up phone conversation between Mueller and Barr in which the former Special Counsel didn’t directly blame the Attorney General for the deception, except insofar as he made it possible by inadequate disclosure:

“The summary letter the Department sent to Congress and released to the public late in the afternoon of March 24 did not fully capture the context, nature, and substance of this office’s work and conclusions,” Mueller wrote. “There is now public confusion about critical aspects of the results of our investigation. This threatens to undermine a central purpose for which the Department appointed the Special Counsel: to assure full public confidence in the outcome of the investigations. - Robert S. Mueller III”

So, this is a portion of the letter/complaint that Mueller said about Barr that was written off by pubs weeks ago because it was from an "anonymous source".

It's also a lie. Corrupt President. Equally corrupt AG.

So, let me get this straight. Mueller didn't like what Barr had to say about the obstruction part of the summary about a report that has already been released to the public.

Seems like the only reason Democrats would bring this up would be to try to smear and attack Barr.

Mueller complained that Barr’s letter did not capture ‘context’ of Trump probe

"When Barr pressed Mueller on whether he thought Barr’s memo to Congress was inaccurate, Mueller said he did not but felt that the media coverage of it was misinterpreting the investigation, officials said."

Media misinterpretation makes Barr the bad guy? GTFO

Throwing out some more red meat to the collusiophiles. They are easily taken. 😂

This is why everyone should have withheld judgement until seeing the report itself.

In and of itself, the Barr memo spin job is not very injurious, but it's become clear he sees his role as defending Trump, rather than being an impartial administrator of justice.
