Mueller Report Imminent

They needed to move the needle. Anybody watching knows there was obstruction and witness tampering.
The house will impeach.

Anyone watching knows we're exactly where we were when the report was released. If the House didn't have the votes for impeachment at this time yesterday, they won't have them today.

The house will impeach.
The Senate will not convict.
We will be stuck with a horrendously despicable human until 2020.
Beyond 2020, we will see what the country is. Undoubtedly, the most crucial election in decades, if not ever.
This gets said every four years. Guess what, 2024 will be “the most important election of our lifetimes.”

I think you are right short term. Longer term, in the debates when people are paying attention, this will be very uncomfortable for Trump. I say that realizing that Trump will just lie without compunction. But in real time he will then be exposed as the felon he is.
He'll spin it as an unwarranted attack on his Presidency, and honestly, some of what was said today will support that argument.

Spoiler, Trump isn’t getting impeached.

There's plenty of political theatre bring okayed it on both sides for sure. I was speaking more to the rather glaring fact that most of those how's on to help were politically motivated, some even shed the charade and we're exposed as political hacks. The investigation was a mining operation an they are attempting to use the minimal findings to impeach a president.

I am not a Trump fan though he had dinner a decent job this far with the things that matter most to me. But what this investigation from to to bottom represents is disturbing, the federal governments police arm was weaponized and a president was targeted. Because arguably the most powerful political family in the world was beat and embarrassed. Let that sink in, politics as dirty as they were before just got dirtier. I hate what politics in this country has become.

Well, that's one perspective. Although, there aren't many surprises in this hearing, unless people who haven't read the report are watching.

Mueller has mostly kept his word on not giving his opinion, only acknowledging when things read back to him, are in fact in the report.

Waste of time. If Obama had done the same thing as Trump, then Republicans would be yelling impeach him and Democrats would defend him.

What is obvious is that Trump said he was F----and obstructed justice. Probably something out there he is afraid they would uncover.

You are leaving here in 2020?

Efforts by the president to obstruct were largely thwarted by the refusal of the people around him to follow through on his directives.

Attempt to obstruct is still obstruction.

but destroying evidence is not obstruction because the evidence was destroyed LOL......I see......it was Mr. green with the candlestick in the den! Beep Beep!

It’s going to be an interesting decision the Dems have coming up . Impeach vote in the house , you don’t get the votes it’s over , you do get the votes , you send it to the house to be voted down and run the risk of getting Trump the-elected .

Context is a good thing. That quote has been worn out today. And it’s also been put in context of him lamenting that he would be hindered throughout his presidency due to the appointment. For some reason that hasn’t come up so much today though 🤔

When he learned of Mueller’s appointment, Trump “lambasted” Sessions, saying, “How could you let this happen, Jeff?” according to the report. He told Sessions, “you were supposed to protect me,” or words to that effect, Sessions told the special counsel.

“Everyone tells me if you get one of these independent counsels it ruins your presidency. It takes years and years and I won’t be able to do anything. This is the worst thing that ever happened to me,” Trump then said.

Wrong. Please don't make the argument that if you thought about drunk driving that you are actually drinking and driving.

So the American people can understand:

Nadler then asked: "Your investigation actually found quote 'multiple acts by the president that were capable of exerting undue influence over law enforcement investigations, including the Russian interference and obstruction of investigations.' Is that correct?"

Mueller said that was "correct."

Nadler continued: "Now Director Mueller, can you explain in plain terms what that finding means so the American people can understand it?"

Mueller said that "the finding indicates that the president was not exculpated for the acts that he allegedly committed."

Mueller later told Colorado Republican Rep. Ken Buck that "yes," Trump could be charged with obstruction of justice after leaving office.

"You believe that he committed — you can charge the president of the United States with obstruction of justice after he left office?" Buck followed up.

"Yes," Mueller responded.

I wouldn't want to be making that argument. I do like that Mueller isn't weaseling anymore.

Yet the investigation he supposedly obstructed was a total farce. YES

That people think this is going well for Trump is a testament to the Trump cult phenomenon. Trump has been proven to have lied about the outcome of the investigation, to have ordered staff to commit criminal acts to obstruct it, to have ordered them to lie about that, to have ordered them to create falsified records, and to threaten to fire them if they did not.

Trump is a criminal. It is beyond debate. That some of you refuse to admit it and, worse, defend it, is disgusting.
They have him on obstruction, you know impeachment isn't going to happen and he'll take 2020.
