There isn't going to be an effort to impeach. Pelosi has been very consistent that she wants to see the democratic process run it's course. It will be left up to the American people to decide whether or not Trump is removed from office on January 20, 2021 and that is how it should be.
Mueller was deliberately vague. I don't see how he can be objectively described as a political partisan. He definitely could have painted a much worse picture of Trump than he did. And he could have defended his investigation from Republican attack more than he did. He didn't want to be there and he doesn't want to be in the middle of partisan fight.
Yes it is. There wasnt enough to bring them. Therefore, as we all Americans are considered innocent until proven guilty, we are in the same place. Innocent. If new evidence presents itself and it proves, without reasonable doubt, that he broke the law then we may pursue a guilty verdict. ONLY WHEN that happens, we can consider him guilty per the principles of our justice system. Like I said, yall forget this when its convenient. You can disagree all you want but it's the same with Hillary, you can't legally consider him guilty of anything. That's all I'm saying. No, it is not! A decision not to bring charges at this time, is not the same thing as an acquittal! Jeez.
I don't get what that accomplished. Mueller doesn't come off as a very polished advocate for his own work. The optics didn't seem to move the ball from a PR perspective. No one expected a revelation today. Mueller said as much in advance. The point was to have someone not a Dem articulate, or at least agree, with the findings of the report.
Mission accomplished.
Think about that for a second.I am not sure the demorats realize how badly they were crushed today..like a mortal and pestle of justice and reality turning them into a fine dust...
Impeachment never was a thing! Listen to Pelosi.
There isn't enough evidence to bring charges at this time (and he is still in office - the DOJ has made it clear that they won't charge a sitting President with a crime), but that is subject to change if new evidence should arise - and after Trump has left office. If he had been acquitted of a charge following a jury trial, that charge could not be brought again, even if new evidence was to emerge (double jeopardy). A decision not to bring charges is not the same as an acquittal... I'm sure you are not really this stupid. Are you just wanting to argue for the sheer hell of it?Yes it is. They had a partisan team try to find enough evidence to indict, couldnt do it.
Not sure you grasp whats going on. What is it like to see your political ideology being destroyed from within right in front of you eyes?Think about that for a second.
The president was shown to have obstructed justice, tampered with witnesses, conspired with the enemy, and been anything but forthright in his written responses.....AND THAT is considered a crushing victory.
Tells one all they need to know.
You and I arent arguing the same thing. You are arguing about the finalization of an acquittal. i agree with you but that's not what I'm talking about. I'm not saying everything is final right now. I'm saying that we must presume innocence since there is no guilty verdict and there isnt even enough to bring charges, therefore, he is innocent in the eyes of the law. Simple. You are holding out hope. Time to drop this charade. There isn't enough evidence to bring charges at this time (and he is still in office - the DOJ has made it clear that they won't charge a sitting President with a crime), but that is subject to change if new evidence should arise - and after Trump has left office. Trump obstructing the investigation to keep his crimes secret has nothing to do with anyone's political ideology. You may think the sun rises and sets in Trump's a$$ so that's probably the depths of your political conscious. Not sure you grasp whats going on. What is it like to see your political ideology being destroyed from within right in front of you eyes?
