I think (hope) there are fewer people today who would make the ridiculous claim that the Mueller report found no obstruction.I don't get what that accomplished. Mueller doesn't come off as a very polished advocate for his own work. The optics didn't seem to move the ball from a PR perspective.
You are trying to revise what you had previously said. Your exact words from post # 11,326 in this thread, were as follows:You and I arent arguing the same thing. You are arguing about the finalization of an acquittal. i agree with you but that's not what I'm talking about. I'm not saying everything is final right now. I'm saying that we must presume innocence since there is no guilty verdict and there isnt even enough to bring charges, therefore, he is innocent in the eyes of the law. Simple. You are holding out hope. Time to drop this charade.
I feel bad for you tbh. You have these grand old dreams that he will be found guilty one day and despite a two year probe of openly partisan opponents and without being hindered, nothing. Must be frustrating.
It doesn't matter Chump. What matters is that your hopes and dreams of a smoking gun for impeachment evaporated. Now with the stable of idiots you have running on free **** for everybody, you just handed Mr Trump 4 more years. Bye bye butterfly.I think (hope) there are fewer people today who would make the ridiculous claim that the Mueller report found no obstruction.
At one point the percent of conservatives who felt that there was no obstruction was astonishingly high.
Think about that for a second.
The president was shown to have obstructed justice, tampered with witnesses, conspired with the enemy, and been anything but forthright in his written responses.....AND THAT is considered a crushing victory.
Tells one all they need to know.
Think of how low the Trumpers have fallen when they consider a day when it is shown that Trump obstructed, tampered, and conspired to be a great day.
No he did not.I missed a large chunk of this thread. Did @luthervol ever provide a link that Mueller accused trump of conspiracy, obstruction, and witness tampering?
Rep. Adam Schiff did get Robert Mueller to agree that seeking out foreign assistance during a campaign was both "unpatriotic" and "wrong". Mueller described Trump's praise of WikiLeaks during the campaign as "problematic would be an understatement". It is not every day that you hear things like that about the President in the Congressional testimony of a special counsel.Mueller did not write the report, His Clinton attorney's did.
A lot of criticism of Mueller, but he did not want to testify to congress.
The blame for today's fiasco is solely the fault of the unbelievably stupid democrat leadership in the House. They forced Mueller to testify. What in the hell were they thinking?
