I'm not saying we should or should not shut down, I'm not qualified to make that call. But, Trump himself said it's got to get worse before it gets better.

I believe many medical professionals have political bias and unfortunately this factors in to the course of action they recommend on COVID.

So you believe that doctors are violating their Hippocratic oath, putting their patients at physical risk by prescribing unnecessary treatment that can actually do them harm, just so they can exercise their political bias?

Yes, and I have a personnel experience with a Doctor performing an unnecessary surgery which I guess was for the MONEY although I cannot prove it. LOL, Do you think all Doctors are infallible professionals with no ethical issues?

I find myself agreeing with closing down one day and then not closing down the next day but I have come to the conclusion the country cannot afford another complete shutdown. But the people who are comparing this to the flu are just naive. This country is in a bad spot regardless of which direction our leaders take us.

Several media outlets are reporting lengthy delays in obtaining Covid 19 test results. Up to two weeks in some places. If this is a widespread situation, I think we can kiss college football goodbye for this season. There is no way to move forward without regular testing and the ability to make decisions quickly based on test results. It is what it is.

Universities would have to pay for their own Covid tests much like the UFC, and the turnaround would be extremely quick.

More than my bias and personal experience...and you will see groups of doctors today on CNN saying we must shut down Schools and other medical professionals referenced on VN yesterday that state the COVID risks for children is overblown. Who is right and who Is wrong ? Both groups are seeing the same data. There is obvious political bias amongst the medical community,

Dr. Immanual appears to me to be - ahem - a nut.

I think the public's reaction to Covid is overblown, and would like to see us get back to normal and take our chances with the therapies that are available or coming on line. But no person in authority is going to go against the great weight of medical opinion. It just isn't going to happen. There is no way a season can proceed if the players cannot get routinely tested, and if test results cannot be obtained relatively quickly. You might as well adjust yourself to this reality. I would love to see a football season. I just don't see it happening.
