Multiple USCe O-Linemen out for Tennessee game

None that are out are starters from what I’ve heard maybe on special teams but it’s part of the game we’ve been missing Cooper, pili, Slaughter just part of the game.

My first thought, putting myself in the shoes of the USCe Offensive Coordinator, was...

"I wonder how effective Tennessee's corners will be tackling on quick screens?"

It'll be interesting to see what SC does to compensate for their OL being a mash unit. Even more interesting will be the game plan by Banks to capitalize.
I don’t think it will be interesting at all. Rattler will do quick drops and toss the ball around. Happened last year and we aren’t much better on the back end

With a bad O Line, they will be forced to dink and dunk with quick passes. We don't defend that really well so they will have time of possession advantage and we fans will get very frustrated watching them convert for first downs. But our offense should run all over the chickens and score at will. Vols by fiddy or at least five.

Noice! If Mr. Rattler's head is separated from his body, I won't be too upset. I have a strong stomach. :p
i get where you were trying to go with that but just Naw man....thats going way too far and tasteless. Joking about stuff like that ain't cool.

That is actually worse for them. If their line is as bad as they have played and they aren't hurt, not good news for them. One our fans seem to forget is that we have been missing our best returning lineman in the first 4 games. I am pretty sure that Ollie Lane hasn't been great at making the line calls. Hopefully, Cooper Mays actually plays Saturday. I believe his increases the level of this line immediately upon his lining up.
Cooper playing actually improves us at 2 spots on the line since Ollie can move back to his normal spot. Ollie Lane is like a name destined to be an olineman... down to his initials. Ollie opens a huge lane. OLlie the Olineman. Surely this has been pointed out many times in the past on these boards right? It just clicked in my head though.

Yep, Juice Wells had 180 yards receiving vs us last year, his break out game. They will miss him but Legette is really good about 6'3" 225 and moves good kind of like Bru or Juan Jennings size wise
Today on SECN they said that Legette is "MVP after four games" in the SEC. Not sure I quite buy that level of hype, especially considering Allysa Lang is an SC homer, but he is very good.

If they really are down 7 OL, this game will say a lot about Banks. Will he able to capitalize and keep Rattler on his back? Or will he be outcoaxhed again and let them throw all over us? We will see.

We need slaughter to …well… slaughter him.
Guy looked really good in MSState game. Will take a good game by our best corner and probably some help too.

Good news is that it’s a big drop to #2, who is now out and not a lot of receiving yardage after that.
