Glad he turned us down...just wish Hammy hadn't listened to him about Doolittle.

Bad news for everyone else. They will probably become competent again. But Muschamp will land on his feet as a big time DC I'm sure.

Thank God he reportedly turned us down a few years ago.

If I were Auburn I would go after Muschamp as defensive coordinator. They really need help on defense.

Why? We ended up with Dooley instead. At least Muschamp will have directed them to 3 bowl games in 4 years, including a BCS bowl. I would've taken that over what Dooley gave us.

Muschamp wanted Dooley at Tennessee because he knew he could beat him. That's why Saban always said Dooley knew what he was doing. There was a reason.

I heard a flight has been scheduled DCA-GNV for this evening after the Redskins-Bucs game.

RAID their recruits

I'd be willing to bet Butch and the rest of the coaches are already on the phones. The fact that they are keeping Muschamp around to coach the next 2 games is a HUGE mistake in terms of their recruiting. Gives the next coach less time to sway recruits or keep commits in the fold.

He'll be a great fit at a team that can light up the scoreboard...scary if he ends up at Texas A&M...

As the next coach is likely with a team right now it's not possible to name him yet.
