My guess is that Muschamp was done in as much by his current recruiting class, the success of FSU and the threat of a rising Miami more so than his current win/loss record. Somebody will get a really good D coordinator out of this. I wonder if Richt would hire him?

From the comments Mullen has made he and his family are very happy at MS ST. I do not think he goes anywhere.

He's better than Muschump I'll give him that.

I doubt he gets a look for HC at a big time program again for a few more years. He may even need to go to a small program for 2-3 years to prove he can be a consistent HC.

So what happens if they somehow upset fsu? Wouldnt that be hilarious? Hes an awful head coach but hes a great DC so if i was spurrier id hire him today. He needs defensive help asap

Why not just cheer for whatever team/school Kiffin coaches?

It would reduce the trolling on VN significantly.

Lol. I was telling my brother in law how bad Spurrier wants to beat Florida since Zooker was fired and the OBC came back from the Redskins. When Foley told Spurrier he would have to submit a resume like everyone else to put in for the Florida job. Spurrier being typical Spurrier said my resume is in that Trophy Case go have a look. Lol I'm paraphrasing of course but that was the jist.

What? It's not like the new coach would be hired any sooner if Muschamp walked away today. A new coach is not being named until the season is over regardless and just because Muschamp is still on the sidelines doesn't mean Foley isn't going to start the vetting process.

I know a guy who's sister married her brother who was also her sister on weekends that lives in Archer and says that Gruden is the next coach. Says he's already ordered 10 pairs of Jorts.
