SI and ESPN reporting this is a done deal....LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Somehow the entire division downgraded while we stayed the same, feels damn good. Let's OWN the east now!!!

Not sure whats so funny hes 2-0 against Butch Jones with bad football teams

Exactly. If we'd beaten him while at Florida I'd understand this. At this point it makes no sense for Vol fans to be ecstatic over this news.

South Carolina doesn't have half of the talent Florida has. Will Muschamp doesn't scare me at all. In three seasons South Carolina will be looking for another head football coach.

Appears to me South Carolina may be in a similar position Tennessee was in when Dooley was hired. It was reported several coached, including Muschamp turn us down.

Nah. His only bad team was in 2013 due to injuries, but most of the team was healthy when they played us, of course. Still had NFL caliber athletes all over the field.

He will have a rude awakening at USC. They have no talent now.

This is another example of what retards SC fans are. They were up in arms last week over the possibility of a Muschamp hire, now they'll all roll over and
take it and pray for 7-8 wins. Terrrible hire, Ray Tanner's ass should be fired over this.

We play them in Gainesville next year.

Other than a season where we win a title, this is the best college football season ever

Will Muschamp is a bi-polar Derek Dooley:thud:

Best hire they could have made for the rest of the SEC East. SC has solidified it's position as 4th best team in the East at best.

Willie Taggart, Dino Babers, Justin Fuente, Scott Frost...

Would have hired any of them over Muschamp

They are all offensive coaches. Hiring a defensive coach for a rebuild is a terrible idea. You can beat teams year one and year two if you can score points. You can't do it with defense alone.

Muschamp is not as good a coach as Spurrier was. I can't see recruits flocking to South Carolina just based on his coaching persona - whereas Spurrier had national championships, won a Heisman and had Heisman players at UF. We should be able to keep ahead of USCe in the coming years.

Kiffin would have been more of a lure (from a marketing standpoint) than Muschamp for recruits at USC. Realize it's very hard for me to give Kiffin any sort of credit, so that is something.

This is a legendarily bad hire. Almost as bad as Dooley for us, except Dooley had a little less writing on the wall.
