My Heisman ballot is in

I hated it when the other experts voted Oklahoma to play for the national title in 2004 and it led to the most lopsided BCS game in history while undefeated Auburn sat home

The experts also picked Jason White (Jason Who?) -- just a few years back for the Heisman.

The experts have been good to Oklahoma consider the embarrassment your team has suffered on the national stage time and time again

Or maybe Boise State was just that good?

C'mon man, you can't have it both ways. Sooner or later, Oklahoma has to put up or shut up.

I invite you to educate yourself on Jason White before you diss him. Try youtube and then get back with an educated opinion.
To further your education on games that turn out a hell of a lot different than anyone thought. I'll refer you to Nebraska-Florida a few years ago and Nebraska-Tennessee from about the same time period. of course there is Florida State-Oklahoma from 2000 but I don't want to overload you.:):):)

T-Sooner....

You've got to go back to 2000 to make your point?

You need to deal with reality here...Oklahoma was lucky to get the title shot in 2004, and it is fortunate the Big 12 is a year behind in its tiebreaker criteria now

A huge portion of that "luck" was not playing The Citadel and not being horrible after being a preseason top 10 in 2003. If you're going to attempt to use the past to say OU shouldn't be there this year, Auburn throwing up all over themselves in 2003, which included being annihilated on their home field by USC, is certainly relevant.

Auburn played USC closer than Oklahoma did...
I'm pretty confident OU would have been a little more competitive if they had played the Trojans in Norman. Auburn got the best end of the deal that year. The delusional folks who make up their fan base get to fantasize that they could have actually beaten USC. Had they gone to Miami, they would have been hammered. As it is, they got to slink past a pathetic Virginia Tech team and crow about their undefeated season.

I heard a comment the other day stating even though Alalbama had won 6 or so national championships, how they have never had a single player to win the Heisman. That suggests to me the value of such award.

My vote clearly goes to Tebow even though I do not approve of his choice of schools, He is easily the best player in the nation...He does so much and is such a factor in that teams success it can´t be ignored...Wish he would either graduate or LEAVE already so the glass slipper on UF will shatter and they will once again become just plain ole UF again. :naughty:

I don't think scheduling the Citadel even made a difference to be honest. Auburn wasn't going to jump OU unless they lost.

I could go back further if I need to and would have to to include you in a BCS bowl. Next year I will only have to go back to January 8 to make my point.:):) What do you think the tie breaker should have been? I doubt it will change because they got it right.

I am torn...I live in Oklahoma and have to listen to the "homers" say how great Bradford is...the guyis good, he is an awesome athlete and has put up some serious numbers...
then you have Tebow..plays for the enemy...he is a monster on the field...probably the best athlete on the field most Saturdays...but I just dont think he has the passing numbers...he is the MVP for the gators no doubt...but the best player in college football, I cant beleive he is...

I will go Bradford...

But Tebow will win it due to the voter split and the fact that Tebow is so well known

How is that relevant? You had my support until this silliness.

While I absolutely hate the gators, how many of the tds is the SEC title game came by way of the forward pass?

Graham Harrell went 12-1 with better stats than Tebow and his only loss was against Oklahoma in Norman.

Who means more to each team? Put Harrell at Florida, and they are fine. Maybe better, maybe not, but they would be in good shape. Put Tebow in Lubbock and TT is 4-7.

At least you're entertaining.
