Wow. Groupie? Jumping on his stones? Look, I'm gonna do my best to talk to you like an adult, even though you haven't given me much reason to. I've been on here quite a while, and I disagree with Hat as much as the next guy. I was trying to warn posters like you from jumping into a losing jabfest with Hat before you even read his post just so you can feel special being his latest victim. It's a message board. Say whatever you want, but I've have about as much affinity towards Hat as you've shown you have towards unfounded nonsense.

It helps Hamilton a lot that there's not really anybody in the UT system with the stature to fire him on his own. You'd basically have to have a Board of Trustees meeting to make it happen.

Anyone who wonders how important having a strong, competent university president is to each and every aspect of a school's operation needs only look at the havoc the lack of one is wreaking across the board in Knoxville.

8. This will certainly be cause for celebration when the Big East coaches congregate in New York for Media Days. Lots of guys in that league get the satisfaction of having what they've always said about Pearl confirmed.
9. No real off campus recruiting for the better part of a year is a substantial penalty. I just don't see the 'AA deeming that to be enough.
10. Contrary to what most people probably think, I'm not happy about this. What's bad for Bruce Pearl is bad for UT.
