Mystery silent QB commit? (merged)

ND has two QB commits, PSU has two QB commits... Connor Wood (texas) maybe... Would love it to be HEaps (doubtful), Boisture (why would you want to play for Michigan State), or even Pete Thomas (Arizona State)!

idk why i just think its very possible that its scroggins bcuz dont u think if he wanted to go to usc so bad he would hav commited about a week after he got the offer

Man, it is not even like "official" that we have a silent commit. Why would Scroggins even commit, then a day later... just silently commit to us? We would want him to commit as loud as possible for other recruiting purposes...

ur right i never thought of it that way but i think that we will definately get a top 10 or 15 qb within the next month

he did, just not publicly, kiffin and the staff knew about a week before the annoucement, and no one knows who it is, except for the staff, and prob a very few of those that have inside info, but EVERYONE except YOU knows it is not scroggins. Just bc it doesnt say he is commited on rivals does not mean its him, they have already put out an article out about it, and rivals doesnt remove, or change a commitment status bc there is rumblings that UT has a silent qb, come on man use some common sense

I'm guessing Paul Jones maybe...since he is a BIG FISH...and Robert Bolden (another highly rated QB prospect) just committed to Penn State as well.

It is extremely hard to keep two highly rated prospects happy this early, and with the lure of a gaping wide hole on a traditional SEC Powerhouse, I can see him possibly looking in our direction. Especially if he knows we're taking only one (we don't yet know what CLK's plans are...very possible one in this class and one in 2011. If we take 2 this class, it could hurt our chances at landing an upper tier prospect in 2011).

Jones is also someone who really has not been in the conversation before, so no one has thought it possible before now.

If it was him, I'd be ecstatic.

i know but what i am sayin is that rivals never said anything about his commitment to usc i never said it is him i just said it could be plus why wouldnt he make his desision public when he first commited idk who it is as long as its a 4 star

There were 3 guys on VQ who were saying they had info on the rumor. 1 of them wouldn't say who it was, but he did say it wasn't Lamaison, Brunetti, Bray, Scroggins, or Rees. The other 2 said it was Phillip Sims...

well...before he said its not Bray, I was said on him. My best guess is that it is Andrew Hendrix. They just got another QB commitment, he wanted to commit here at one time, and he is a "big fish". I know many ppl have forgot about him. I hope that whole rumor is true. Guys, just dont get your hopes up yet.

I never considered Hendrix an upper tier guy...in fact I would take Grayson over him or Bray, easily.

Most likely... No One. But if it is true... I would look at PSU, they have 2 Qbs with top 10 status... one might be un happy. A lot of people say Connor Wood, he has a lot of competition at Texas. For some reason people are saying HEaps...no clue why.

I would like it to be heaps, Bell, Boisture, or Thomas (ASU commit)
