I am curious to see how drivers rank among members of Volnation. My list is based on right now so I left off Kyle Busch (future) and Mark Martin (past). Here is my list. Feel free to make it a top 10 or as long as it needs to be.

1. Jeff Gordon
2. Tony Stewart
3. Jimmie Johnson
4. Matt Kenseth
5. Kevin Harvick

1. Tony Stewart
2. Robby Gordon
3. Kyle Busch
4. Jeff Gordon
5. Kasey Kahne

Great list!

Busch has the most raw talent of them all and Robby Gordon can drive! It might not show but he chose to do things his own way and was quite stubborn when he drove for Yates and Childress. Busch can learn alot by looking at Robby's career. If things don't work out with Gibbs he could be headed down the same path.

My list would mirror yours but I would substitute Edwards for Kahne.

Wow, this is interesting to see the different lists. I never thought I would see Michael Waltrip on one of these list. :)

Is Jimmie Johnson left off some of the list because of his equipment or because they've been caught cheating a few times? I would maybe agree because he hasn't won on the road course yet but he reminds me of Kenseth in being consistent so I had to add him to my list.

Is Robby Gordon considered a bust because he is so talented or is he considered a maverick for doing things his way?

Jimmie Johnson
Smoke
Jeff Gordon
Matt Kenseth
Kyle Bush
Jr.

As bad as I hate to say it, JJ is the man talent wise (IMO). If he wins 3 straight, we'll have to start talking about him in the same breath as the King, Sr. and Gordo. Surely it won't happen, I hope.

Go 88!

0 Championships-5th is his best finish

2 cup wins in the last 3 years

0 wins at Darlington or Charlotte

I don't see how anyone can even put him in the top 5

I sure didn't. It should be noted, this is most talented, not best driver. There is a distinction, example; if it were best driver, then I would put in Mark Martin for one, due to his savy as a driver, but not as most talented today. A few years ago, he would be on my most talented list.

Robby has done alot more racing than most Cup regulars, and been successful in different arenas of racing than most Cup regulars have dabbled in.

Doozer just hates him because he isn't from the south, about the same reason he hates Kenseth for.
