i've got MotoGP tickets for Indy in September. i am really looking forward to it.

Have you ever been to a motorcycle roadrace? If not you will be blown away. It defies gravity & I don't know how many laws of physics the way they can lay their bikes over, and they are so fast.

no, i have never been. that's the main reason for my excitement.

not sure if you've looked at the track layout for the MotoGP race at Indy, but we are sitting in turn 1, about 20 or so rows up. they are going to to be absolutely phenomenal seats. another reason for my excitement.

i'm also going to try and make all 3 events at Indy this year. the Brickyard is the only one that's in question.

That's where I would want to sit, wish I could be with you. My understanding is it is the F1 circuit with some mods.
I went to Daytona Bike Week once, worked as corner worker at three bike events at Mid-Ohio and 2 at Nelson Ledges. At Mid-Ohio, I helped Freddie Spencer get up after he laid his bike down in the Keyhole section.

I would place Stewart, Gordon, and Johnson in a class by themselves. In the second tier I would put Kenseth, Robby Gordon, and, if we are talking strictly talent and not results, I would put Juan Montoya there. He is a proven winner in CART, F1, the Indy 500 and stock cars.

Tony Stewart(has won in anything with 4 wheels)
Robby Gordon(maybe not the best at anything but his range is much broader than anyone else that comes to mind)
Jeff Gordon(maybe on his way downhill but in the late 90's-early 2000's unstopable)
Kyle Busch( probably the most raw tallent that needs to be developed)
Kasey Kahne( a wasted tallent at GEM)

Good list along with on the money analysis.

after Kahne won those 6 races in 06 I really thought he was gonna be the next superstar... maybe he'll get back on track

If he were at Hendrick or Rousch, he probably would be. I would put him over Little E talent wise.

Kahne just dosen't fit with Budwiser. But then again, not to many people would behind JR. Kahne just seems like a wine kind of guy.

Had the same thought, he did a spot where he tastes wine. Definitely not as good a fit as Little E.

I think DEI should have kept the Bud sponsor, moved it to Truex and moved Bass Pro to a secondary sponsor or another car. I know it's not that easy and Bud had the right to leave but Truex has more of a beer guy look than Kahne. I would at least put Elliott Sadler in there before Kahne. Maybe it's a subliminal message by Bud to attract teens to drink by using a driver that looks like them.

Yeah, somebody should have pitched that to DEI and Budwiser.:)

How do you say a guy who dominated the season last year is on the downhill?
