My god, I remember watching the actual show when he chose UT. It wasn't your prime time ESPN fluff like you see now. It was some channel (CSS maybe?), I think Tom Lemming was on the show. Because He kept saying Fulmer was the best recruiter in the nation. Well bottom line...I remember thinking "this kids gonna win us a NC"!!! Well, the rest is history.

Dude beat the Gators in the swamp and Bammer in Tuscaloosa. I was bummed when he got booted. I'll never forget that Hail Mary at the half in 2003.

I watched that game on YouTube about a month ago. The game was posted by a Canes fan and included the pre and post game footage from the Miami media. The pre game interviews and cockiness compared to the post game interviews and sorrow from the Miami faithful was funny as hell! With Tony Robinson that team might have been the best in the country. They manhandled #1 Auburn if I remember correctly. I'll admit, my memory isn't all that.

But as much as I loved the Sugar Bowl win...Miracle at South Bend does it for me. Not a finer bunch of *******s to see butthurt than ND IMO.

So great to see UM get their butts whipped in the 80s and 90s. Didn't happen a lot, but always jumped on the failboat against the SEC. I hate to say it, but I loved the '92 Sugar Bowl as well. Growing up in the Southern (culturally, not geographically) part of Florida, that was just grand to watch, especially at the UT alumni bar in Tallahassee amongst UT junkies that held season tickets to FSU pre-Charlie Ward.

Steve Matthews in early 90s. I think he was a lefty, showed some promise at UT, transferred to Memphis, then spent time in the pros. Now he's at Knox Catholic.

Who was the qb that came from tony robinson's high school and broke all of his records? Was that Moses Collins?

If Tony hadnt gotten hurt very few would even know that Doug Dickey's son even attended UT.

May not be sure on how to label him but I think we can all agree that we're happy as heck he was a Vol.
Wasn't he MVP of the Sugar Bowl?

Quincy Prigmore and Eric Locke. Neither played QB at UT but were two of the best HS players I've ever seen.

Lance Wheaton, holder in the early 90's. It seems like he had a "Rudy" moment at QB in his last game.
