The unfortunate part is grown men in an organization cant get together and determine on their own how ridiculous the idea that this was a racist act.

If you were really strong internally and IF this had really been some racist act you would easily be able to root this person out. If it were more systemic and not individualistic, then you would need the FBI. Men dont even know how to be men anymore.

If there is a grip to open from outside, it is usually a metal handle. The long pulls at the track are obviously intended for someone to be able to quickly jerk the door up from outside the garage bay.

It probably broke so the fashioned it to be able to grip which a noose would be the best knot.
