The View and Don Lemon don’t really align with the NASCAR demographic that he should be trying to reach. Following up: Bubba said the FBI said it wasn't a functioning noose. Since this is not a common garage pull rope knot, someone was sitting in the garage bored and fashioned it. It's unfortunate NASCAR doesn't have a garage pull rope knot standard.

I'm beginning to think the FBI are simply too embaressed to admit they played optics & had a virtue overreaction. They sent 15(?) agents to investigate a nothing-burger, and now the cowards are too afraid of negative media too shoot it down definitively.

It's been 30+ years, and I was only in the Boy Scouts for less than 6 months. The Bowline Knot is literally like one of the first knots they teach Boy Scouts to tie. What happens if some idiot like me keeps screwing up the Bowline Knot? You get a non functioning noose.

Somebody was trying to re-tie the garage door knot, screwed it up, and left the non functioning noose lying around.

The FBI is not too stupid to put this together.

I wasn’t really that familiar with him. I knew there was a black driver, but I didn’t know his name was Bubba Wallace. I think it’s great for NASCAR to have diversity, but you’re right, he’s not helping himself here. If someone is guiding him here they are doing a poor job of helping him.
