I am not a fan of Nascar. The sport could disappear tomorrow and I would be indifferent. If the target audience was made to feel slighted by Nascar's response to this misunderstanding, then nascar should apologize to that group of fans.Good morning. Are all the offended whites still looking for apologies today?

I would expect that to be SOP from a business who depends on loyal fans for existence.
Different perspective because I don't follow the sport, but his team's response to this was a brilliant business decision. He is the only driver's name I know. He transcends the sport right now. Marketing and endorsement opportunities will come from this. The cynical side of me would say this was a planned event for the purpose of propelling him to another level of marketability.I would hope what he recovers is some common sense.
