At this rate PBS needs to run a public service announcement on the history of nooses.

1) Nooses were not invented to specifically hang black people.

2) All ropes with a loop in them are not nooses.

Can they first air the episode detailing that world history did in fact begin prior to 18th century North America.

It feels very wrong to know I can place a noose on a moose but not nooses on mooses. Also, noose on a goose and neese on geese feels very right.

NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace has insisted that the rope knot found in his garage was a 'straight-up noose' and said he was 'p****d' with his critics - but accepts he 'wasn't targeted' after the FBI said there was no evidence of a hate crime.

A Youtube video from 2019 showed a pull rope tied into a noose hanging from the garage door in the same stall used by Wallace and his team at the Talladega Superspeedway over the weekend. At the time the video was taken, that specific stall was being used by a white driver, Paul Menard.

Other videos from previous years revealed that the garage door ropes - or 'pulls' as they're called - were often tied into nooses as early as 2016.

Just saw that. Wondering the back story, did he finally calm down, did his mgr back him off the ledge, did Petty back him down, did NASCAR back him down?

I would guess Petty or NASCAR. I just can’t see him doing a 180 on his own after watching him on Lemon last night.

Richard Petty has been in NASCAR for a looooooong time and probably knows how to deal with this. And NASCAR is if nothing else a pretty solid PR machine too.
