It was a possible hate crime and a lot of people to interview. They sent 2 dozen for Roger Stone so they appear to be doing better.

There really weren't that many people to interview. This matter was solved almost immediately. NASCAR, after it put out the word, had to roll with their lie and got a great photo opp out of it on Monday with everybody caught up in the "feelz".

Why could this photo not have been released Sunday or Monday when this was reported? Thursday it took until Thursday. 4 days and two days after the FBI said nothing to see here.

Yep even with the anti- defamation league stretching what it calls a white supremacist......there is only about 17-30 murders a year...... gangs typically account for over 2,000 per year..... who is the bigger threat?

OK, it's technically not a noose but it looks exactly like a noose. I don't think you know what the conversation was so maybe you need some context. These dudes were saying BW was trying to perpetuate that this event was racist because he still called it a noose. It looks like a noose. As @volinbham said, it is fashioned to look like a noose. BW called it a noose because he thinks it's a noose. Just about anybody who sees that would call it a noose.

Basically after the fact Bubba said glad it wasn't a hate crime but glad Nascar at least in the public eye completely overreacted and was glad they did.

anyone who wants a reality check just needs to ask where was all this in 2008? it's all theater. if the people running the cities where the worst stuff has gone down didn't think they could put a lid on this any time they want to, they never would have let it happen to begin with. the people I feel almost sorry for are the dumbasses who think anyone is going to give a crap about their problems once the election is over.

I got into it in the 90's once one of my friends told me that it's much better if you have a favorite driver or two, or one that you hate, and then also follow the racing strategy. Once Earnhardt died I didn't watch much anymore because their wasn't that polarizing figure anymore.

However BW could become that, sounds like that what he wants too.

Only problem is Bubba to this point has done nothing to prove he is a polarizing figure. Bubba is on record as saying I'm not interested in confederate flags but checkered flags. Another thing of note Dale Earnhardt Sr was one of the best 2 race car drivers in the history of the sport. In 7+ years in Nascar competition Bubba Wallace has 2 wins in the lowest of the Nascar series the truck series. And both of those wins are at the same track. I honestly think Bubba is a good guy. I hope he is not naive to believe that BLM is in anyway interested in black lives.

Before Kyle Larson was suspended for saying the "N"word Bubba Wallace was looking at the real possibility of not having a ride next year. After what everyone with any amount of human decency would agree was despicable now Bubba Wallace is the face of Nascar and finishing out of the top 10 nearly every week.

Side note Kyle Larson is a superstar in the making and is half Japanese. Kyle Larson like Bubba Wallace went through the Nascar Diversity program and has 12 wins in NASCAR's top series.

Man Claims ‘Proud Boys or KKK’ Yelled Racial Slur, Shot Him Outside Seattle’s CHOP

A man who was shot outside of Seattle’s Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHOP) is calling the attack a “hate crime” and attributing it to the “Proud Boys or KKK.”

DeJuan Young, 33, was shot in an area right outside CHOP over the weekend after attempting to flee the sound of gunshots, which ultimately left one teenager dead.

Young said he heard the first shooting and attempted to get away from the area and head home when a group of four men approached him. He claims they uttered a racial slur before shooting him and believes it was a racially motivated attack.

“So basically I was shot by, I’m not sure if they’re ‘Proud Boys’ or KKK,” Young said, according to KIRO 7. “But the verbiage that they said was hold this [N-word] and shot me.”

Young did not clarify whether the men actually grabbed hold of him but said that the force of the shots “pushed him onto the hood of the car,” according to the local report.

“And they stood over top of me and continued to fire,” he claimed, without explaining how his assailants were above him on the car, apparently firing from point-blank range, without fatally wounding him. “I tried to protect myself and got shot in the arm. And they got away.”

Volunteers in the area transferred Young to Harborview Medical Center, where he is being treated for his injuries. Young has uploaded videos from his hospital bed to TikTok, saying that he was “shot five times in the stomach” in addition to his arm. He suggested he was making the video because he wanted the world to know “his story” — specifically, that Seattle police “left me out there for dead.”

The local reports on Young caught the attention of Kalen D’Almeida, the co-founder and field reporter for Scriberr who was allegedly attacked in CHOP earlier this month after filming rapper Raz Simone, the area’s unofficial leader. He has identified the man as one of his attackers based on photos uploaded to Young’s social media accounts:
