You haven’t read a single one of his interviews post race if you have come to that conclusion
I agree with you. I say don’t give him the attention if that’s the case. That’s what he wants.I think people were ready to move on, but Bubba wasn't willing to let that happen. He had to get that spotlight back by playing on racial tensions over a non-racist act.
When it's real, it deserves the brightest spotlight we can shine. When it's not real, the involved parties shouldn't be out there trying to stir up outrage for the sake of outrage(or in Bubba's case, publicity). If Bubba wants publicity that badly, win a damn race. Don't double down on a fake incident. There was nothing racist about this.
Do you agree it was also determined to not be a hate crime? That’s what the investigators said. Why not move on then if you’re Bubba? It really is amazing how some people refuse to believe the truth despite the fact the FBI, NASCAR, witnesses, and photographic evidence shows that the rope was a noose. Y'all watch too much infowars and OAN.
It was there last fall. So it's been there for some time. It blew up because by coincidence/fate/luck of the draw Bubba got assigned that garage. There was no duplicity involved. There was no racist motive. It's just something that happened. It was a garage pull with a noose on it. It’s funny how out of the 11 with knots and pull ropes in about 1,600 other garages, none had the same knot.
It's a garage pull. I've read the individual stories and pieced the facts together. To call it a "noose" is to try and add a racial meaning that does not apply. Bubba was not targeted. No one was trying to "send him a message". The point standings just led to him being assigned a garage with a poorly tied garage pull. Bubba could have easily diffused the situation when the FBI investigation revealed this to be nothing, but he chose not to. Nothing insidious happened here. I'm not sure why you keep wanting to portray that it has.@Weezer don't lose street cred over this. You're usually a real one. Don't slum it with AirVol
It's amazing how some people have to look for something to be outraged about when there's nothing to be outraged over. Referring to it as a "noose" is to suggest there was some racial meaning there that clearly was not present. It really is amazing how some people refuse to believe the truth despite the fact the FBI, NASCAR, witnesses, and photographic evidence shows that the rope was a noose. The FBI didn't use quotation marks when they referred to it as a noose multiple times in their report following the investigation.
