Nashville Courts UK for basketball game

Damn big money, no love for K-Town to be found?

Oh well, I'm leaving for college anyways, so I'm not all that offended.

4 of the best years of my life spent in knoxville, but it offers nothing for me as a city outside of the University of Tennessee. Everyone who stays in Knoxville after college rarely live up to there potential in life. I've seen it happen too many times.

so no love for Nashville, huh? It's a heck of a lot better than the town you live in. A one street town supported only by a university.

Knoxville has more crime and trash than all of east tennessee put together. Not to mention it smells like dead fish and rotten eggs when it rains.

The night life is quite pathetic. I hope you enjoy the same place every night...people in Knoxville sure don't know how to mix it up, and the strip has seen better days....not sure when, but it is sinking into a deep pit.

Four years of college is all that needs to be spent in k-town. The lucky few who don't get sucked into the city move far away to only come back in the fall. Knoxville is a drag of a town and it will only bring you down and success is not to be found for most.

Having lived in and around both places myself, you just sound like a fool. A fool who got his feelings hurt that a bunch of jackasses don't like his city. Would you like a lolly?

yes i would and i'm not offended...just tying my line.

Considering more than 75% of the population lives in Franklin and Brentwood.

Even if those numbers were right, which they aren't, you would still be discounting a quarter of the people.

Spring Hill is probably 15% of that. There are millionaire land owners that include movie stars and music people in the outlying areas.

Point being, calling Williamson County, redneck, is absurd.

Actually I edited that. Brentwood and Franklin don't even account for half of the population of the county if you check the census. I am not saying the whole county is redneck, but the gap between it and Davidson County isn't much.

METRO RANK

Found some crow for you Hat. Nashville #5, Birmingham #14 out of 366 metropolitan areas in economic strength.
Yeah, that's why Birmingham is doing so well building their new arena and defaulting on bonds left and right. They're stacked. Tell us again how safe Nashville is and how well UT basketball draws there. That should provide enough crow to choke the pathetic life out of you.

Ah, once presented with facts he resorts back to name calling. Maybe one day you'll quit acting like a first grader and make some friends. Do you think ANY city in the US could build a new dome right now with no guarantee that there will be enough events to fill it? What professional sports team was going to play there?

Great source. Some jerkwater think tank in Plant City, Florida. Can't argue with that study. We all know that Plany City, FL based Policom.com is where it's at in economic analysis. That the best you could do? Some podunk think tank probably run out of a community college professor's basement. Great work.

Facts? You pull up some study from a backwater think tank to puff your city. Big deal. Look, we've already established you are a liar and a goof,(see "Magicphone UT-Vanderbilt ending" and "Gangs, Hispanic NBA Style." It's not namecalling when the rips are true. Thus, it's not my fault you have consistently proven to be the intellectual equivalent of Scrapple. That's on you.

Oh, crap. The founder of Policom was once the mayor of Tiffin, Ohio and was voted one of the "Five Outstanding Young Men In Ohio." Who needs Cramer or Greenspan when you've got this guy out there?

After reading the bio of William Fruth, Policom president, I would like to issue an apology to any community college professors who were offended by my earlier remarks.

Oh, right because people who don't make 7 figures don't deserve good places to raise a family. If you're not living in a chateau you're rolling in your own feces.

Just revolting.

Are we talking Cornell campus or Ithaca, New York? You keep changing your argument here. The buildings are old because the school is old. That's why it's Ivy League...
