I would like to take my wife to the Catbird Seat sometime on an overnight date night. Anyone been there?

The next time you're out this way check out Back Alley BBQ in Dickson and Papa Kay Joes in centerville.

I live here now.

I have a buddy out in Fairview that I see semi-frequently. I might make the journey to Dickson from there.

Well I'm kind of in between. I live near where Hwy 100, 46, and 7 all meet. Let me know when you're out this way.

Etch is the best restaurant in Nashville.
Pancake Pantry is excellent, but Loveless (though close to my heart) is overrated.
Manny's House of Pizza in the Arcade downtown is some of the best pizza I've had anywhere. The equivalent is also true for some of the Mexican places on Nolensville Pike. There's one in particular that looks junky but is in-effing-credible, but the name escapes me. I'll think of it and more places later.

What's the bar type place in the Arcade? Food is nothing earth shattering, but the atmosphere, service, and scenery were all excellent.

Maybe I was just drunk.

Everyone talks about the Pancake Pantry(love the place) and the Loveless Cafe(not what it once was), but another solid place to eat breakfast at is Noshville. Noshville Delicatessen serves great food for all meals.

Noshville is good. The last time I was there the service was ****ty tho.

Has anyone tried Mas Tacos Por Favor? I've heard they are good. Speaking of tacos, Taco Mamacita in edgehill village isn't bad, they have some interesting combinations.

Bella Napoli has good pizza and is in edgehill village as well.

There is a very good gelato place right down the street from both as well.

Since you're from Dickson, Back Alley BBQ is very good too if you haven't already tried it.

Skyking Pizza in Kingston Springs is as well.

Back Alley is the best. Are you from Dickson?
I have not tried skyking but I've heard about it. Carls Perfect Pig is good too.

The jerky shack is legit. They used to be open all night, I thought they were frontin' out of there. Try fish camp in centerville if you ever go out that way. It's pretty good.

I reccomend the spicy fillets at the catfish kitchen. Come on Tuesdays and it's all you can eat Quail.

I live in Lyles about 10 minutes away. Skyking has a weekly specialty pizza, this week it is a BBQ pizza using Back Alley's BBQ.

There's also a Papa Boudreaux's in Downtown Franklin. I haven't eaten at the other locations, but I have to assume they're just as good. Huge portions, too.

Cajun Steamer in Cool Springs is absolutely dreadful. Gave it my customary two chances, and both times they managed to pull off the impressive feat of sending out food that was both cold AND overcooked.

55 South in Downtown Franklin makes solid cajun/southern food. Great Sunday brunch, as well.

I can't agree. I'm sorry you had a bad experience but for the money, the catfish pontchatrain can't be beat.

I've built a few houses out your way near Bon Aqua. I'm closer to town out on the ole Pomona area.

Would love to but I only go out that way 4x a year and its on either Sunday afternoon then Fri/Sat. Their hushpuppies are the bomb.

I brought dill pickle jerky back to the office and people drooled over it so much I had to buy $70 worth on the way back.

I'm not sure where it was when you got it last, but it moves around quite a bit. Here lately it's been near the 4-way intersection of Hwy 100,46, and 7. It's about 10 minutes off of the 172 exit.

last year it was at the intersection of 70 and 70s. So its not there now?
