Thanks for your help and info on JS, fellas. Its a summer highlight for my family and it would be disappointing if he wasn't there in his shack toking on a cig selling jerky in zip lock bags.
Not sure if it's been mentioned, but I love Sambuca. Live jazz played by my former music appreciation professor Ben Graves and his band most nights. Really cool environment, amazing food.
Have to say that Nashville has some decent burger joints. You can count on getting damn good burgers at The Pharmacy Burger Parlor, The Sportsman's Grille, Rotiers, Ted's Montana Grill, ad the Sax Deli in Hendersonville.
it is. Most restaurants go up and down in quality over the years but Arnolds stays the same good quality meat n 3 food. Seating can be a problem so you have to get their at the right time. Cant roll in at noon and expect no line or an open table. Early is best.
And the Jerky Shack is still there at the corner of 70 and 70s as of yesterday. Bought 12 bags of dill pickle jerky. Should have bought more.
Tried The Local Taco on Murphy Rd today. They had a variety of tacos and a menu kind of similar to Taco Mamacita. Good salsa as well, and I'm normally not a salsa fan.
Former Tin Roof owner came out of retirement and opened Flipside in 12th south are right next to Dolly Partons Alamo house. Reviews of food have been good. It's been open for @ week.
He's killing it. Sold his old huge house to Jay Cutler and moved over in the gulch where he and his wife can ride bikes to work.
This is his retirement/play and he's @ 40.
