Nate Peterman

There is a huge difference between the situation Bray walked into and the situation Worley walked into. Bray was an EE and the 2nd string QB from day 1 that was expected to play at some point that year and got reps in practice as such. When he finally came in he got the easy part of our schedule with Moore, Jones, Hunter, Rogers, and Stocker as targets. Worley on the other hand is the 3rd string quarterback, and not getting many reps in practice. He then gets the Cotton Bowl champion and the Capital one bowl champion with Rogers pretty much being his only legitimate target. It is an apples to oranges comparison. I also wouldn't say that completing over 70% of your passes multiple times in your career is showing nothing.

Don't waste your time on logic with some of these. They want Peterman because GatorDeputy is a friendly poster and indirectly made Peterman a legend before he has ever stepped foot on a college field....Oh, and somebody somewhere said he can run like the wind. Nothing else matters.

Anyone who cannot see the difference between Worley the freshman and Worley the sophomore is blind. He played with confidence last year, read defenses, executed with precision, put the ball where it was supposed to be when it was supposed to be there...at 50+mph. I wish Dooley kept him in the Vandy game. I am looking forward to seeing him play, and that is no knock on Peterman. My guess is that we'll see them both this year.

I reported what Nate did each week in his games. I also said he was a QB that would rather stay in the pocket and throw than run, but when he had to, he could run the ball. No, he can't run like the wind. LOL.

What he brings is leadership, a good football IQ, and a strong work ethic.

I think some of the interest in Nate is the comments from the coaching staff, they seemed to like him.

I just hope that if he never starts a game, I don't get run out of town on a rail...lol.

I watched some clips of him and when he scrambles he appeared to be a bruiser.

1 TD and 5 INTs is pathetic...i don't care if he was a true freshman when he did this...it's not good at all...Bray and any other talented prospects showed plenty of flashes of greatness...Worely has shown NOTHING.
If it's any consolation, Worley would have had 3 TD's and only 4 INT's had it not been for his great receivers. Da'Rick dropped a long TD pass laid right into his hands against South Carolina in 2011. Hunter had a perfectly thrown TD pass bounce off his facemask against Vandy this year, and Patterson ran the wrong route on a sideline pass against Vandy this year causing an INT. There may be more. That is all that I can remember.
