Nathan Peterman - think he can bounce back?

I still cannot understand why Worley got trashed so badly.

It's VN. If a QB threw a 60 yard pass, ran down the field and caught it for a TD, some VN members would complain the ball didn't have enough spiral motion in it.

Personally, I think Worley is a better QB than he's given credit for. But I happen to also think after watching Dobbs over a few games that he will provide more scoring opportunities. Mainly because he's not afraid to run when the chance is there. Time and again I saw teams leave pieces of field wide open and Worley didn't take it. And when I saw that one close up picture of him running with a terrified look on his face, I sort of knew what the problem was. The Dobb Goblin doesn't get scared, he scares you. Once he upgrades his passing proficiency, he's going to be a terror to opponents. At the moment, I will not contest a truism about Worley. He makes better decisions and takes very good care of the ball. He does this better than any of our QBs right now.

What concerns me most about the Peterman experiment..is why did CBJ leave him in so long in that game? Why did he not get a few reps during the WKU game? Why, knowing Worley's thumb was injured, did CBJ wait so long in the Bama game to put Dobbs in?
Once a QB starts struggling, CBJ leaves him in alot longer than it seems necessary??
Plus, Peterman didn't have an ounce of help from our OL, that game, right? It was just bad.

This is one of a few questions I had concerning the job Butch did last season.

I still have reservations about this offense although I did see it click a few times.

What's everyone's thoughts on this guy? Do you think he'll bounce back from the disastrous debut he had against Florida and get some significant PT in orange next year, or do you see him riding the pine and/or transferring?

I don't think there is any way he plays this year considering the potential talent in Dobbs and Ferguson.

I think it has to do with Jones believing in his players and showing them he has faith in them. Yes, it probably cost us a game, but it will probably pay off dividends down the road as the team will understand that the coach has their backs. Keep in mind the psychological damage that has been done to these players with the previous 2 staffs.
