This move is so stupid on so many counts. Most of the new reports seem to agree with what people have thought for years - that ethanol in gas doesn't do anything to help the climate, and they probably still aren't factoring in all the negatives in just growing and processing the corn. The other point you never hear discussed is that when you fill up with ethanol polluted gas, you are actually hauling around dead weight because the energy content is lower than that of gasoline alone. In short, you burn more combustible fuel; and since it's not a nuclear process, everything that goes into the engine comes out just in a different form.

BTW while driving through the other day, I saw a Love's tanker pull out of the Mountain Market (think it's the current name). I was wondering if they pump Love's gas or if the driver just stopped in for a break.

I was passing and saw him as well I've actually passed the Love's tanker several times. I assumed he was stopping for a break. The closest Love's I'm aware of is in Jasper just before you cross Nickajack.

Maybe this will tamp down inflation and quieten the right wing, anti-Biden caterwauling. I doubt the leases will noticeably affect inflation. As for quieting the caterwauling Republicans, that will ever happen, because the Republican Party panders to the blighted and retarded attitudes of its "poor me" crowd with continual streams of gut twisting complaints, however partially real or totally unreal. If it weren't for ridiculous lies, the Republican machine would not have much to offer its constituents.

I'm not sure why you're so hostile when it's quite literally inarguable that the Biden administration is a failure, and a failure greatly impacting even the average American at that.

I'm also not sure why you're pretending like throwing on this band-aid that opens up a fifth of the original available space (will have near zero impact in the long term) and that won't have drilling on it for months at the earliest (will have near zero impact in the short term) is meaningful. Did you even read the article? Have you even paid attention to the discussion around this already?

I guess the old smooth brain of yours ain't firing too hard today.

Honest about what? People rightly pointing out and being upset over an absolute disastrous run in office? That isn't "caterwauling". Or are you going to say he's doing well and everyone needs to just shut up?

You've shared another policy/action that will fail right out of the gate and are pretending it's going to be impactful. That's bad enough. I ask again, did you actually read the article?

Joe Biden and his administration have been a historic failure in just about everything they’ve touched. Your children’s children’s children will still be referencing the Biden administration when talking about bad presidencies. The country is being headed by mentally deficient fool. He’s a national embarrassment.

Gas last night at the station close to home: $3.89.
Gas today at the same station $4.09. Another station down the street is $4.16.

Does anyone know what made it go up that much?
