It’s crazy. When Dems are in control, prices go up and I have less disposable income. When Republicans are in charge, most things are cheaper and I have way more disposable income. You would think most people would notice the difference in their finances and start putting it together.looks like that release from the Strategic Oil Preserve really did the trick
But there are no mean tweets. Look at luther. He is happy that the country is falling into oblivion. It’s crazy. When Dems are in control, prices go up and I have less disposable income. From everything I've read the owner sets their price based on a number of factors. If someone isn't setting their own price then they don't really own anything. They're just leasing a building to sell beer/snacks.
But yes they do make more money when gas is cheap.
Beer, cigarettes, sundries and car washes are where most of them make their money. When Exxon owned most of their C-stores we did a lot of work for them. If their fuel pumps went down the vendor had 12-24 hours to get them fixed. Car wash or beer fridge goes down, vendor had 4 hours. What does that tell you?

Yea, I knew they made most of their money on getting customers there to buy stuff other than gas. Part of the reason they make more when gas is cheaper. More people willing to drive more often leads to more gas purchase leads to more customers buying beer/cigs/ect.Beer, cigarettes, sundries and car washes are where most of them make their money. Just to be clear, people should be angry at the companies that go out and find the oil in the ground... drill to get it, pump it out, transport it to a refinery where they break it down into it's various components, store it until it can be transported to the USA, store it until it is needed at your local Stop and Stab... all for a profit of about $.02/gallon.... or the US government that does none of the above and taxes you $.40/gallon.Federal land drilling restored. Strategic reserve tapped. Price per barrel around $100. It's almost like the companies are laughing as the public blames the wrong people.

Can u float me a $20?Yeah, you dont make any money on gasoline sales. Almost all of that simply goes to the state in taxes. Almost every dollar of profit (if any) comes from snacks and such. I had a few friends that owned several stores and know someone who owns several hundred (he is a billionaire tho)
