Exactly…Florida and TN can only blame themselves for bad hires. Georgia has just taken advantage of both teams being down.
Amazing what can happen a year from now….No one would have ever thought for a second we’d been ranked #1 in the country this year- even if only short lived.
I‘d much rather have a coach that can do what Heupel has done in a short time with a limited roster versus a coach that can’t beat you if they’re not considerably more talented.
Yeah I'd be willing to bet the only ones left watching this mess are Ga fans.UT vs Bama highest rated TV audience this year. Be hard to top that game for viewing by a neutral football fan,
This game tonight has lost all interest of the unaffiliated football fan that just wants to watch good football.
Not so fast. Barring some poor decisions by Day and knocking out Harrison with a questionable hit, Ohio State had Georgia on the ropes and should have beaten them. Georgia was flat lucky to get through that game. I wouldn’t exactly call that a mud hole stomping. Let’s not get carried away.Yeah, well…TCU upset Michigan. Key word is “upset”. UGA would have smoked either one, so in this case it’s TCU.
I’m not surprised. The elite of the SEC…and UT is one class away from being there…will stomp a mudhole in the best that any other P5 conference can offer…and walk it dry.
Go Vols.
I don't mean to be snarky here, but who cares how he gets it done.
He's getting it done. Remember how many people laughed at him a couple of years ago because he had 15, 5* QBs on the roster and he decides to ride and die with some scrub walk-on.
Who’s blaming him for how he’s getting it done… we’re just providing some detail on how TN & FL have made the path a little easier. Not hiring the best coaches has hurt TN and Florida’s recruiting. It’s a factI don't mean to be snarky here, but who cares how he gets it done.

Years from now, when he passes away, it will be said.....
Here lies Kirby Smart. The greatest football coach in Georgia football history.
But, he never had to rebuild a program.
