If you’re an AT&T customer you’re used to it at this point. We are. This is at least the second time they’ve lost our info. They are a shell of their former Ma Bell self they are over priced and largely incompetent

I use them for my prepay phone.
I did get a notification a few weeks ago that my data with some pharnaceutical had been breached. I never even heard of them.

AT&T said the context of text messages and phone calls were not breached. Only numbers used for text messages and phone calls.

The content of the calls and messages was not compromised and customers' personal information was not accessed — but the records did include phone numbers.

AT&T says hackers stole records of nearly all cellular customers' calls and texts

The data contains records of calls and texts between approximately May 1 and Oct. 31, 2022, and on Jan. 2, 2023.

Theres a worldwide IT outage due to a new Windows/Crowdstrike update:
• 911 systems are down
• Many emergency services and even home alarm systems are down
• Some governments are holding meetings
• Some news channels cannot broadcast
• Flights are grounded
• Payment systems are not working
• ATM’s are down• Train Stations are down
• Casinos and Hotels affected by this where many guests can’t leave/enter their rooms Insane that one company’s failed update can do all this damage.

Despite the crisis, @X is still online. Shows how critical this platform is to staying informed during a crisis.

I would wait till I see what the lawsuits look like. Don’t know if you’re working but I’m extended into an additional day and our F/A’s are coming off a lean over. Ground stop in ATL for next hour and a half. FAs may time out and then our day gets exponentially longer. Supposed to be one leg home. I KNEW I should’ve used a sick call!

Our country is irresponsibly stupid. We've known for decades that Russia and China were testing anti-satellite weaponry. Ranging from small sized devices that chased down and attached themselves to our surveillance and GPS guiding sats for missiles. All the way to laser tech, equipment basically designed to blind our military should hostilities break out. And yet, took no action on this during both various administrations. Including Trump's. The most damnable thing is that they are using concepts from Reagan's proposed and abandoned Star Wars defense system idea. Further, Russia protects itself from our hackers, and other cyber snooping by placing their most sensitive information on intranet, rather than internet accessible computer system. We don't. It's as though we're openly inviting enemies to slit our throats, with our helping them do it.
