Think about what happens if that last pass got bobbled. There was only 1 seconds left as is. I really wondered if they might not just kick it with:06 left.

He's got the arm and I sure wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a good passer, but I'd be curious to compare his freshman advanced numbers to Dobbs. Hurts looks way too robotic throwing the ball

99 plays for Clemson. That combined with Alabama not being able to convert 3rd downs really worked on the Bama defense.

All of you all would have a point about Hurts if he was a sophomore of a junior.

18 years old. True freshman. Our senior QB would have played like Hurts in this game.

Saban can get away with being an ass because he wins. Butch can't and that's why Dabo is painting this state a darker shade of orange.

off him because he can see the play unfolding and knows he's the only chance of stopping it. I'm thrilled bama got beat, but officials will have to start calling that pick more often. NFL teams got away with it for years but I think they've cracked down on it quite a bit--you can't make contact anymore with the DB.

Directing criticism at Hurts is a deflection from Saban and the defense. He is going to take a ton of heat for this loss, way more than he deserves.

When Bama loses, it is their defense that gets torched. Their offense scores enough points to win in all these losses. Bammers can't bring themselves to even mention it. Saban's defense has struggles against mobile QBs.

Good runner. Not a great passer. Sound firmiliar? Dobbs improved as a passer as time went on. Same may happen for Hurts. But. I don't even care if get flak ffor this (because **** Bama) but I hope he flops like a fish next season and stinks it up.

I love the Hurts TD with about 2 minutes to go and Bama fans celebrating like they had already won. 2 minutes as Bama fans now well know is an eternity in football with only one score needed for a win.

They had way too much faith in their defense.

Their defense was really good, but Watson had figured something out by the second half.

In the coming days you'll see Bammers rip Hurts and not say a word about their defense because it's some kind of a heresy to say anything negative about Saban.

Their offense always scores enough points to win in these games that they lose.
