NC — WHAT A FARCE!

I told my buddy before the game that if TCU wins this game, it defies everything I know about CFB. Elite talent beats 3 stars every time, no matter how well coached, sorry. And I know TCU has a couple studs who would start on UGA (QB and WR, in particular), but not many.
This was a classic 5* McDonald’s all Americans vs 3* Kids that eat at McDonald’s! Someone should have called social services at halftime and reported GA. Good lord!

TCU was a nice story for the year, a media darling if you will but they didn’t belong in the NC game. Hopefully a 12 team playoff will weed out future TCU’s so the NC game and winner becomes more significant. The old process of AP selecting their darlings, the BCS, and now the 4 game playoff are/were weak attempts to determine a NC. Not taking anything from Georgia though. They were stout this year.

I cut the game off at 24-7 and it wasn't even halftime. The real national title game was the week before which Georgia was lucky to win at the very end. They had no business winning that game. Here's hoping the expanded playoff system will let more deserving teams in to have a shot at knocking off the usual suspects.

Give it a rest. UGA threw 4 passes in the second half against UT. Anyone with an IQ over 4 knows that wasn't an attempt to run up the score. You got your azz kicked. Own it and move on. Our second string played the 4th quarter against TCU. Kirby had 2 choices on 4th down. Kick a field goal, which would have been rubbing it in, or let the second string run the offense.

go suck a egg homer.beat tcu and act like you did something special.

That was embarrassing for NCAA Football overall. Given the facts on the ground last night, I'm going to go "against the tide" of many opinions here and say that I'm glad it was OUR conference champion that did the embarrassing and ( God forbid...) not the other way around.
C'mon folks....do you honestly wish that TCU pounded UGA 65-7 last night..??? Wouldn't say much about our team if they had, would it..??
Perhaps the 12 team playoff system will help. Time will tell.
Go ahead and celebrate that Georgia victory if you want. I’ll pass

OSU's kicker overstrided on the FG try and that is why he shanked it far to the left. He was very accurate all season long.... One of the greatest college football games I have ever seen. Riveting.

Weather had more to do with that. Kirby did what he needed to win that game versus Tennessee. I doubt very seriously he ever worried about rubbing it in or anything like that. And have no doubt we got our ass kicked versus y’all; our Oline never held up versus your Dline. If not for that the game would’ve been more interesting.

One week ago, best semis ever... the cfp did their job

One slaughter where uga actually plays a complete game, scrap it and do something else?

I just hope the score puts to bed the storyline that Kirby "called off the dogs" on Tennessee. Kirby runs up the score when he can... And I have no problem with that. The weather got rough and the Tennessee defense legitimately made good adjustments.
Exactly. He ran it up any time he could. Nothing wrong with a coach scoring 66 on fools if he can.

i don't get why people are so upset about TCU getting smoked by UGA

Michigan smoked Ohio State, but UGA barely squeeked by Ohio State. TCU beat Michigan.

Sometimes things happen South Carolina for instance

I could care less about about it. I'm excited about the VOLS are starting to actually do something. And I'm excited about it.

Georgia vs TCU: 65-7: Ridiculous!— Just proof that TCU never deserved to be there in the first place!

UGA vs Tennessee was 27-13….

Even if the outcome was the same: which game would you rather watch?

Even Joe Milton III could have scored the VOLS at least 21 points this time around!!!!!

TCU wasn't a bad team, they just didn't match up well with GA. Ohio St was the one team that could match up with Georgia because of their talent on offense. Yes GA beat us by 14, but anyone that watched it knew they took the foot off the gas because of the rain. Hate to say it, but if it had been sunny the whole game they could have put 45-50 on us. Fact is NOBODY was beating GA the other night, they had everything clicking.

It really does't. They quit throwing the 2nd half when it started raining. They threw all over us the 1st half and probably didn't throw it 10 times after HT. It wasn't so much Kirby calling off the dogs, it was the rain. They knew they could run on us and play keep away.

Agreed. Sometimes it's matchups and sometimes a team gets hot, while another has an off day. They are 17-22( Except Bennett) kids and they won't be up for every gsme.

They actually only threw it 5 times in the second half of that game. They ran it 21 times for 35 yards in the second half, so they most certainly weren't running on us. Tennessee's defense made killer adjustments at halftime and held the eventual National Champion to 3 points and 72 yards of total offense in the second half.
