This was always the case. Nothing changed from yesterday. There has not been a team that has schemed their way to a National Championship since Nebraska... The last 20 National Championship teams had at least one top-10 class in the four years leading up to the win.

Just watch them play one time..They are in the worst football conference Their opponents are a combined 35-37. Have not played or beaten a top 25 team. Best team they played was ND and ND boat raced them..That's why!

Perhaps you haven't heard, but that same Notre Dame team just boat raced Clemson 35-14 last night, and that final Clemson TD was in the final seconds of the game to make it look more respectable. Notre Dame beat UNC 45-32. Drake Maye is putting up big numbers...bigger than Hooker. He will be one of the top Heisman candidates going into next season.

Could also mean nothing.

Clemson also won the NC a couple times. Those teams were clearly legit even if their conference wasn’t. This year even Clemson isn’t legit. Good team, like UNC, but not one of the best teams in the country
