As we continue to be on a path to our best 3-year stretch in the last 25 years and the cusp of elite, of course a portion of VN wants some on the staff responsible for this awesome run to be fired. Not even surprising tbh.

Would be interesting to see the overlap with the ones who also wanted Tim Banks fired.

Oh, I’ll admit that I wanted Banks gone in the last couple of years. No longer calling for him to get fired but I still think we can upgrade from Banks when he bolts for a HC job. I think much of the success is behind Banks, excluding Martinez. JMO

I've looked at the roster and while I'm not completely convinced he going a good job at least half of our current roster are freshmen or redshirt freshmen. There have been some misses and transfers that weren't patient enough.

I'm not convinced either way but I do think we could upgrade our recruiting and coaching there.

To be fair, we’ve had a NFL running back every year since he’s been here.

Evans
Small
Wright
Sampson

Next year won’t be the case. I agree with the poster, go get that OL coach so we can CONTINUE to produce those RBs

You don't think one of Bishop, Lewis, or Baker will be an NFL back?🤔

Ok. So what I get here is CGE sucks, and when the o line is good, it's because of something else.

Look I'm not gonna tell you that I think this o line is great. It hasn't been. But it's just not been as bad as many think. They really are good in the run game.

Where this group struggles is with penalties and pass pro. That's in part because we need some upgraded talent, and part better coaching. Play calling could help them out too.

Long story short, it's just not as simple as "Ellarbee sucks", imo.

Okay. We can ride with those guys next year.

Hope our run game is the same it has been the last few years. I like betting, I’d bet it won’t be.

Just know I’ll be bumping this post when it isn’t as good. You can do the same if you’re right.

I remember posters thinking we didn’t have an SEC level back on the roster in 2021. And then every commenced season pining for an ELITE back in the portal…including this past offseason.

With Evans, Small, and Wright? I doubt there was very many.

I'll just enjoy the success.

But those 3 in particular I'm excited about.
That's a strange hill to die on man haha.

Our running attack will be outstanding.
