I’m guessing the fact that they already have a ton of number one 5 star qbs there already could be a factor

Doesn’t much seem to hold water for most top rated QBs ..... hence, why Clemson has “a ton of number one 5 star QBs there already”.....and Howell pretty much said so in a recent interview. We’ll see.

As for Howell, he likes the Vols a lot (along with Clemson and FSU) but they aren't pressing super hard for any one QB right now.

I don't understand not pushing for a qb now. Get one locked up and make him the centerpiece of your class. I wonder where they are in the evaluation process with QB offers continuing to be extended?

Agreed. QBs are off the market early. Fall in love with and push hard for the early commit before they’re all gone

It's a little confusing how that's written. When I first read it, I took it to mean Clemson wasn't pushing too hard for any QB, which would make sense. If we're the ones taking our sweet time, we need to hurry up and kick it into a higher gear.
