'19 NC RB Quavaris Crouch (Tennessee signee)

Remember,,,, all these wonderful stats have come in the little 12, not the SEC.
That being said, the number of times we would get the ball per game, would either go down, because the other teams just wouldn't let us have it, and this would not allow us to run so many plays per game. It think it can be said that in the little 12 the dominant force is offense. In the SEC it defense or a balance of both sides of the ball.
You never made it to an actual point

It’s true, the leagues aren’t the same, but we have to run something different than UGA and Alabama. We don’t have the athletes, and won’t have the athletes to beat them at their own game.

A concern might be with time of possession. We have seen what happens when our defense is on the field all game with a time management competitor. It can be a killer in the fourth quarter and we have no defensive depth. While your offense dances on the sidelines.

"Don't make me get out my checkbook now."

I figured we were waiting on either the bowl games or NFL season to end. It may be a really happy new year for the Volnation. Just a little more patience.
Happy? Are you kidding me? Half of VN is gonna be pissed if we brought back the ghost of General Neyland to be OC cause the single wing too old school.

????
I hope what you are asking what do my comments mean as it relates to us hiring him.

All I am saying is these great numbers are coming from a defenseless (for the most past) league. Unless we can come up with an unbelievable "lock down" defense, it will be hard to put up numbers like this guys has been able to post.

It would be nice to have to hold the other team to 30 and win though

*Tennessee has officially extended an offer*

Would anyone here care to hazard a guess as to what this actually is supposed to mean. What is an official one? On paper?

And how are we supposed to know such officialness is actually true? Trust another blog rumor it appears.

Excuse me if I don't trust these stories and only believe it when he's running thru the T next year.

I don’t think that is an issue... see Alabama’s new and improved offense this year.

As long as our guys are conditioned it shouldn’t be an issue. Plus with all the help we have recruited this year and last year for the defense we should have the subs to compete.

Yurcich is a QB coach and a seasoned OC. He is a great pickup for what we need in an OC at Tennessee.

It means they’ve presented a specific contract package to him for consideration.

Just spitballing here but maybe they had an agreement in principle ( handshake /verbal) and since they are only 1 day away from finishing the season for him, it was time to put it to paper. Verbal could be very limited amount of people who know about it ADPF CJP obviously OCMY. When you get to "official" paper copies you have secretary's, Legal dept, and AD employees et al. Have no idea if its true just hard to keep a secret when 10 -20 people know about it.

What impresses me about him amongst the candidates is the variety of QBs he’s developed. This year’s was a walk-on. I’m weary of our whole team breaking down because the back-up nickel gets hurt. Coach up what you got and when Pruitt & crew get you even better the gains wills be even better...instead of the beginning.

No he didn't he got to keep it a while but he never won it, check the stats.
But he WON it. Know what you tried but...fizzle. And while we’re on the subject of Uncle butchna dominating, would you say Reggie Bush was “utilized”? 😉

OKAY SO SINCE APPARENTLY ALL THE QUALITY SEC OC's ARE KNOCKING DOWN OUR DOOR TO WORK HERE, WHO SHOULD WE HIRE

Side story: I hated Reggie when I was younger and I was thrilled when he lost the Heisman but as I got older, I realize that it was unfair for him to be stripped. So what he took benefits? He was electrifying and deserved it. It's not like he was juicing.

Sounds like you’re hinting that the Heisman is political and wishy washy...don’t know how to respond. 😏
