Whoever the OC hire is they also have to be a QB coach and obviously Yurcich can develop QBs considering he was doing what he was doing with a Walkon. That being said my arguement was that Yurcich’s offense is good and would work in the SEC. I also would like him as an OC hire but if we go another direction I am fine with that as well.
Imo CJP is handling this exactly right. Target the ones you want and prioritize them. If Yurcich was 1 then obviously 2 was someone he was waiting on. I’d rather be right than quickYeah I think that you’re right. Imo this is a very strange oc search. I thought Jeremy would have had a guy in mind before Helton left. It just seems like something isn’t right.

Feels like deja' vu from a year ago...I'm sick of this shizz-nik...hire one already...would love SarkWhoever the OC hire is they also have to be a QB coach and obviously Yurcich can develop QBs considering he was doing what he was doing with a Walkon. Did you watch the same Bama offense I did?I've been very positive on CJP, but not sure about this hire if true. We need to be a ball control, eat the clock, type offense, with big play potential, much like Alabama or Georgia.
Going 3 and out as fast as humanly possible is a step back, and not what we need.
I could be wrong, and have been several times, and hope I am again. But if its Yurcich, I'm worried about CJP and his chance for success.
