My Michigan buddy- he’s a straight shooter and his info comes from a Michigan board mods/insiders (who also seem to be as straight a shooters as mods/insiders can be). This was sent to me during UK game.
“If we don't get him, we expect Clemson to get him, not y'all. And most of our insiders say he wants to come to us, but distance is a factor for his family is why he might not. But Mom and grandma were won over some last week at his ov.”

Appreciate the info, but I'll put more stock in his (former) coach's direct quotes from this past weekend. He has no reason to sugarcoat the situation, and I believe was being as honest as possible. My Michigan buddy- he’s a straight shooter and his info comes from a Michigan board mods/insiders (who also seem to be as straight a shooters as mods/insiders can be). "It was really nice," Crouch said. "I liked the visit. I like the people there. They're real people and they're real with you. It's a family atmosphere at Tennessee and you know they're going to take care of you. Coach Pruitt is going to be real with you. When you ask people about him they'll tell you to go play for him at Tennessee. That means a lot when you have players backing him up.
"I see that, honestly, they don't have great players right now," he said. "You know the scheme and everything works. Alabama runs the same thing and that's where coach Pruitt came from. You know that if he gets the right players they'll be fine. "They want me to come in and try both offense and defense," said Crouch. "We'll figure out which side of the ball works best after a couple practices.
"All the visits I've been on have been good," he said. "The difference is the people because all the facilities and everything are going to be the same. I've been looking at what the teams can do for me after football. Michigan does some great things there and Tennessee does too. "If I had to make a top three today it would be Michigan, Clemson, and Tennessee," Crouch said. "I'm visiting Clemson this weekend for my official visit but not sure I have anything else set up."
RIVALS' REACTION...
Tennessee really helped their case this weekend and it shows in his comments about the people, how the defense works, and how he says Tennessee can help him after football. The Vols are up there with Michigan and Clemson right now but they'll need to sustain this momentum through the Early Signing Period if they hope to land Crouch's commitment. With Clemson's official visit coming up this weekend, look for the Tigers to put their best foot forward on and off the field.
