NCAA Coaching Carousel

Said Kansas when hiring Turner Gill.

Turner Gill only had 1 winning season at Buffalo in 4 years. His final season, they finished 5th in their division.

Taggart coached the Heisman runner up at Stanford, is known as a very good recruiter, and has bulit WKU from a winless team to a potential bowl game and 2 consecutive winning seasons.

I'm not sure I see your point.

Fair enough and good stats. My comment was more just being a smart ass, but I'm not sold on Taggert.

Top 5 for usm

Monken
Doeren
Anderson
Todd berry
Malzahn

Berry reeks. Nevertheless, were seconds away from beating Arkansas, Auburn, and Baylor in same season. All of the others are solid. Haven't seen Monken tossed around. He sorta took Holgs system in Stillwater and ran with it. Miles was a big fan of him. I like Anderson from his ULL days and Doeren will have a big job within a few years. Both A+ for USM. Malzahn I don't see.

I think Malzahn's better off at Arkansas State than he is at just about any other non-BCS job.

Doeren will be rumored for much bigger names this offseason. NC State is supposedly interested in him, so if Southern Miss could get him, that'd be a huge hire for them.
