that would be the appropriate step for Butch Jones, imo. All the rumors about him being a candidate for UT, Arkansas, and Auburn seemed strange... He had done nothing to be remotely qualified for any of those jobs.

I agree with you. I think he's mainly listed as a candidate for the SEC jobs because of his similarities to Brian Kelly. It'll be interesting to see what he does. He could let it ride and pray UC gets into the ACC (almost definitely won't happen). Also, there's a pretty good chance he wins 10+ next year at Cincinnati, and that might open up some better jobs. I think he will go to Purdue if they're actually offering though.

Ironically Purdue and Cincinnati open next season against each other in Cincinnati.

Colorado: The Daily Camera is reporting that Colorado is interesting in talking with Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen and Wake Forest head coach Jim Grobe. According to The Daily Camera reporter Kyle Ringo, Colorado will interview Cincinnati head coach Butch Jones next week.

Arkansas poster/troll on another site I go to is claiming Arkansas plane on its way to Nashville to interview Franklin. Not sure how true but interesting if it is.
