I am saying grown men talking about college kids and their exploits is childish to begin with. Spamming the NCAA with Keep Bruce nonsense is also a form of childishness, just perhaps less refined. These boards are stress reliefs; not the end of the world stuff. Some UT fan saying dumb things reflects on me not at all.

Look, I am as addicted to these boards as the next person, but just because I am doesn't mean it says anything greater about me than that I care about UT sports. Therefore, I don't really project some "big picture" onto other people either.

J/K.....Not all the time, it happens in TBA too. I remember one of the games at TBA when Jones was the IHC, he was stomping his feet waving his arms, trying to get the crowd to stand up, slowly it happened. I was in the nose bleeds, yelling....in all honesty, I was wondering why the crowd needed the prodding.Maybe they are afraid of the people behind them. Vol fans should not curse each other, not at Neyland, TBA or Facebook. JMO as they say.

The sporting worlds version of the ancient Phariees. You overlook the beams and focus on the motes. Your whole system encourages those who are not a part of your "Regal Society" to cheat. Bruce Pearl's players, current and past speak of him as a Father figure, always there to take their calls. He has graduated all of his players that came in under his tenure. He is accessible to the common fan, and everything College Athletics should be all about. To do this to this man, in the context of the aggrecious violations you have turned a blind eye too, speaks of a double standard, and exposes you for the hypocrites you are.

I would argue that people reading these asinine posts do form opinions of UT fans/students based on what the posts say. When the Beverly Hillbillies aired on TV, many people believed the Clampets were typical Appalachians.

I would also put softball in there, possibly above baseball. I know that I am a lot more interested in the softball team than our baseball team.

I'm a diehard UT fan and the only way I'm watching the baseball team is if they are playing for a championship or if I'm in Knoxville and have nothing better to do.

I read several of those UT fan posts on FB. Pretty solid for the most part. NCAA extortion scheme will backfire in their face. Keep Bruce Pearl! Fire Hamilton.
