Everyone, just like you, has a right to their opinion and im a little tired of people, ignorantly, misusing the term rednecks for an uneducated group of people and attaching it to our fanbase.

Look up were the term was coined and how it was used for miners that tied red bandanas around their neck in solidarity to fight for safe, fair working conditions against the mining companies in West Virginia which ultimately ended in a shot out on a mountain side. Not idoiots by no means.

People are allowing their emotions to control their thinking right now because Brce has done soo much for this town. That doesn't make them a Hick, or Bumpkin or Rednecks, it makes them Fans,short for fantatics you know.just like many here.
To think that Volnation and its most prominent members are the Beacon Of Knowledge or the Hills Moral Compass is also just as laughable as some of the things that have been criticized here.
Alot of you guys sound like John Pennington clones.Always dissing the irrational fanbase pompously.

Let everyone know you support him, and you want him to be our coach. Leave it on message boards, facebook, e-mails, however you need to get the word out. People need to know where the fan's stand on this.

Mouth-breathers unite, after all Facebook got Betty White to host SNL, obviously this will work to keep Pearl as the coach.. After all, this is all of our's school.

UT being the large state school it is, is going to attract its fair share of questionable homers with misspelled signs. I didn't mind when they tried to hold a "rally", or the 100 person march as it should be called. I cringed, but not too bad at the idea of a "Keep Bruce Pearl" FB page. However, they're giving out numbers and email addresses for the Haslams, the Chancellor, the NCAA, and the University itself over this, and the embarrassment is exploding for me.

The redneck outburst that has occurred rivals what Auburn fans did during the fall, and the moral police that a lot of these redneck fans seem to be, bashed them for it. Now, they're pulling the same crap. I can't stand it.
