Number 45 Trump hit by 2nd Amendment but gang tackled by Coca Cola and Sharp as Che causes a fumble scooped up by Black Lives Matter who quickly murders the ball.

I don't know, I somehow think that the ones that have a patch to wear will feel proud about their cause, but others might feel left out, and think they're not being treated equally.

Seriously? I can think of a million ways to offend people with varying causes. Where do you draw the line?

Shoot your local drug dealer!
NAMBLA sucks!
Vote Democrat!
Vote Republican!
Defund Police!
Free Hong Kong!
BLM!
ALM!
Kill Whitey!

One thing I learned from my time in management is once you allow one group to do or say something at work and endorse it you have to allow others to do the same. It becomes a quagmire of landmines with people pushing the envelope. You are better off not allowing it in the first place.

Save the whales
Save the dolphins
Save all sea mammals
Everyone matters
Nothing matters

all controversial to somebody somewhere

But honestly if a patch distracts you that much from a game, it might OCD.

Nothing improves team sports more than becoming more individualistic
Exactly. There are about 120 18-22 yo guys that wear jerseys on a home weekend . I donโ€™t want a segment of the guys over here wondering why these guys donโ€™t have this patch or that patch. And I donโ€™t want guys being upset that they canโ€™t wear a patch while another group gets to wear what they want. It can create unnecessary division in the locker room and takes away from a common goal. I doubt many coaches are thrilled about this. If I were a coach Iโ€™d tell the kids to stand up for what you believe in on social media and/or in the community, but when you get in the facility and on the field your focus is football.

I'm just sick of everything being divisive and constant bombardment.

Surely after a season or something it would just be automatically tuned out, like a Nike or Adidas logo, or players tattoo. I might get annoyed at too much commentary on the patches, whatever they may be. But even that would subside.

One thing I learned after 5 minutes in a high school philosophy class was a logical fallacy called a slippery slope.

That is what society wanted, especially VolNation. They wanted Trump style politics. Well, we've got it.
There's no escape from politics and that's the problem. Literally no escape, why does everyone feel they have to let everyone know how they feel about everything unsolicited?

That isn't a fallacy in the real world. Like raising children, allow one child to talk back to you the others will too.

I wasn't aware there were categories of fallacies that were real or unreal. Holy ****!

You're also comparing raising children to unpaid collegiate athletes expressing themselves. Boo hoo.

Like I said, not the end of the world but one less escape from politics. I like beer, I like wine, hell I even like moonshine....... I just don't like them all mixed together at once.

Was an expert at one point in my life. I was a professional drinker, it was free but the pay sucked.
