Some good coaches on the list for Central Florida..if they could get any of these guys it would be a good hire imo
UCF: Rivals.com reports that UCFs search is focused on four candidates: Bowling Green head coach Dino Babers, North Carolina defensive coordinator Gene Chizik, Florida defensive coordinator Geoff Collins and Florida co-defensive coordinator Randy Shannon. The site adds that interviews are expected to happen Saturday and Sunday.
Two questions:
1) Who is LSU going to get that you can legitimately say is better than Les Miles other than Jimbo Fisher?
2) Why in God's name would Jimbo Fisher leave Florida State for LSU. That just screams stupidity to me.
Moving forward, sources tell FootballScoop that athletic director Mack Rhoades is ready to interview, make a decision and get his new head coach to Columbia.
Per sources, Toledo head coach Matt Campbell is expected to interview and is considered a strong candidate. Sources tell FootballScoop that Campbell, who is quite content at Toledo, would accept the opportunity to become the next head coach at Missouri if offered, adding, and hed be the exact leader that place needs. Hes a team builder. Strong personality that people gravitate towards.
Defensive coordinator Barry Odom is expected to receive an interview as well.
